The Olympics/Worlds and even European championships are the pinnicale of amateur boxing, so to me that's like saying "you're not a good pro boxer unless you've won a world title". There are plenty of quality amateurs up and down the country who will never get a sniff at getting to the olympics but are still classy operators.
