    Lacy beating Robin Reid and just lasting the distance with prime ATG Joe Calzaghe is probably better than anything Broner has done so far LOL

    Broner was buck young when he manned up and fought Ponce de Leon. Even if he should have lost, why doesn't he get the praise for fighting him and winning some rounds that some would receive for such a young age?

    The DeMarco win, although blown out of proportion by HBO during the broadcast, was a great win. DeMarco was a legit top 3, number 1 to many, LW.

    As far as down his resume, he has one win that I feel gets underrated: KO1 Jason Litzau. Sure Litzau wasn't special and known to have a glass chin, but he was top 10 and coming off the win over Caballero when Cab was on peoples' top 10 P4P list.

    Beating Paulie razor close maybe isn't such a big deal? Paulie is good, guys. And was a titlist at the time take it for it's worth, but he was a top 10 WW...

    Other top 10 guys he's faced have been Eloy Perez and Gavin Rees, solid little victories comparable to many highly praised fighters' title defenses. Escobedo he came in overweight for, but he too was a fringe top 10 guy.

    Marcos Maidana will be another great win up there with the DeMarco fight.

    @Bustajay, embarrassed Paulie? If he embarrassed Paulie this fight would be on PPV and his performance that night is part of that reason. Malignaggi shouldn't have been champion with his hometown gift against Cano... And Cano would have been a tougher test fr Broner.

    He passed Lacy a while ago.

    That still leaves him plenty of room to fall well short of his own projections for himself and flat on his face. (that is to say, when all is said and done not a pimple on his idol's ass)
