The problem when you're a dominant fighter and a technician is that you often make fights "boring." This follows around a lot of elite and highly skilled fighters, it is unfortunate but true.

Because he throws 20 punches a round. That's less than 7 punches a minute.

Any less and he would be a ballroom dancer.

His fights are only "boring" to the casual sports fans that walk around masquerading as boxing fans.

Exactly and he does this while in total control. His output is far below his weight class average. Comapre this to a volume puncher like Pwill or JC.

Then ask yourself which is more entertaining,.

:lol::lol:@ all the little poser fanboys, trying to elevate their fight acumen by dumping on those of us who not only find Rigo boring but hold him to a higher standard by actually expecting him to make use of his arsenalby at least attempting to entertain.

Fighters like Rigo exploit the boxing public and I for one will not put so much as a dime in his pocker. The major networks are finally starting to figure this out and will run screaming from the though of televising another one of his debacles.

Lord knows all of your fight experis online are not making up the financial difference the networks lose by showing Rigo.

How does Rigo exploit the public? Seems to me the ones exploiting are the ones who always have excuses. Didn't Donaire say he didn't train properly or watch video against Rigo. Who is exploiting whom?

How can he be exploiting the public, people who like his style watch his fights and people who don't like his style don't watch his fights.

I enjoy watching him so I do, please explain how I have been exploited?

Although I'm a fan of Rigo, I can accept that people find him or his style boring as long as his skills are acknowledged. He's a safety first counterpuncher with high ring iq, nobody can be forced to like that.

I just can not understand, when people say there's no place for him in boxing. In every other professsional sport it would be a ridiculous argument to exclude somebody/a team because they are just to good for the rest.

To his luck, he has some belts now, so others have to fight him...

He represents a style that just has its place in boxing. Put him in with a pacquiao-type of fighter and you would have a foty, rubbermatches and everything.

Unfortunately there is nobody like that arround in his weightclass.
