    serious question.

could it be that the powers that be are quietly negotiating a pac-mayweather?

or is floyd waiting for maidana-broner result?

i think showtime got greedy and doesnt want to go back to the guerrero-type of money. surely the khans and the garcias are in the same level as the guerrero buys.

    Not Pacquiao.

I thought all along he should wait for Maidana/Broner to go down.

Showtime def wants the best route possible. That would be Khan later down the line, if ever.

Maybe Mayweather's camp have been putting out the rumour it is Khan to make whatever opponent they have in mind seem better, the same way they did with Alexander and Guerrero.

It could mean they want to tie in a Pac deal for later? Both belong to GB and Floyd beating Khan would setup a nice showdown with Pac. Legacy wise, a win against Khan would be decent but not something that is too testing for Floyd. Neither is any fight in 140 or 147 at present. The only exception of course is Pac, who is universally regarded as a great. Beating Pac would give him more kudos than any fight around light welter to light middle and make the most money.

Khan will lose but it'll be the most challenged Floyd's been in the ring for quite some time. Bookmark it.

To be honest other than pac, i wouldnt mind seeing khan mayweather, im im pretty sure it would do good numbers, they both have the lovers and haters and most will pay to see one of them win or lose. So its a win win. I will buy it anyway, its only 15 quid in the uk its **** all, not even an hours wage to see khan dance and embarass himself.

Perhaps Alexander was planned for it.

Pac-VADA-Bob/Floyd-USADA-GBP is not going to happen.

Agreed. When was the last entertaining PPV you've seen when Floyd was sufficiently challenged? Thats right, none. None of his fights deserved a PPV, they've all been one-sided wins and boring as ****. Only real fight that really is worth the PPV is Pac. The rest have been over hyped **** dumps.

Floyd Org or tmt are just sussing the reaction of fans regarding this fight. Wondering if the fight is profitable. They might also be looking at other options. Or perhaps plotting how to hype the fight to boost sales.
