MLacy was geting all this hype, when he was KOing bums! He had a network hyping him, supposedlly everybody was ducking him....

When he stepped up to an elite fighter? Joe Calz put that boy down.... exposed him!

Same will happen with GGG IMO, if he ever steps up to WARD!

His next fight is so bad Hbo wont air it smh

Why shouldn't he, considering little Golovtards like yourself start ridiculous threads everyday, overhyping the **** out of Golovkin and showing disrespect for other fighters?

Get you. I think a lot of GGG fans are feeling a lotta frustration too right now. If you really think there's any similarity with Lacy tho (beyond the admittedly excessive hype) you really need to watch (or rewatch) his fights. The level of skill and ring IQ ain't Lacy.

I know you're just trollin' but if you try watching with an open mind you'll see a lot to like (you don't have to tell anyone).

Golovkin is more comparable to a slightly lesser prime Bute.

GGG is primo, top of the line.

Lacy may have had potential at one point in time, but he made the mistake of fighting Calzaghe and received a beating so severe he was never the same again...:deal

Granted, we don't know if GGG will some day find his Calzaghe, but his resume and skill set scream otherwise.:rasta

The premise of this thread is wrong on so many levels.

Golovkin had 350 amateur fights. He is much faster than Lacy, hits much harder, better defense, very skilled with tons of stamina, he is the very opposite of Lacy...............

steps up to whom? at middleweight stevens is the 2nd biggest puncher and there isn't a big difference between macklin, sturm and martinez. anyone 160 lbs. or less who fights triple G is the one stepping up.
