How Mayweather Bested Hatton

    Hatton had the kind of foot speed that perplexed Mayweather.

    This exposure in Floyd's game is the same exposure that's been pointed out in Anderson Silva - if you can stay on top of them (in boxing- figuratively, in MMA-literally) those two can't use their main advantages. Hatton's foot speed was too much to allow Mayweather to employ his usual adjustments that he makes in every fight - that is, until Cortez became enough of a distraction to make Hatton second-guess his plan of attack.

    Hatton's foreward momentum was able to match Mayweathers natural backwards momentum - closing that critical distance in a way I've not seen anyone do before or since. But I still say Mayweather would've been forced to climb on his bicycle and stink out a victory, the same way he had to abandon staying in the trenches against the 5'5 Jesus Chavez (must've really hurt his ego knowing he had to run from such a little guy after committing to squaring up for 8 rounds).

    So explain the 8th round of that fight when Money beat him from one side of the ring to the other, where was the foot speed? How did it help or didn't ?

    Does it really make any difference Hatton can not beat Floyd in London or in my backyard or on a play ground ..

    as much weight as hatton had to lose landing at 140,landing at 147 had to be sweet.plus hatton's father said hatton wasn't ready back when floyd was at 140.

    In the early rounds Void's referee would not allow Hatton to fight on the inside, thus helping Void. Void's referee also took a point away from Hatton for hitting a ring rope by accident...............what rules is that? later one Hatton was allowed to fight more on the inside, but after the early rounds, the point deduction, Hatton got careless...............

    Pac knocked Hatton out in the 2nd round, which made Void a coward...........
