    This.

In one breath op says he's a bum, then in the next says he needs to step up. You can't have it both ways, either he's a bum and doesn't need to step up because he's fighting at the right level fighting other 'bums'...or he's a good fighter who needs to step up to a good level. It's one or the other OP you can't say he's a bum if you want to see him fight better opposition, makes no sense.

Getting boring now. For a novice his competition isn't as bad as made out.

Eubank Jr certainly has decent skills, he fought Bradley Pryce in his 8th fight, and Pryce gave Rabchenko a good fight only recently. He gets most of the flak by how he comes across.

Even in the 80s a 'prospect' could lose and be allowed to rebound. Mark Kaylor was matched up and lost to future alphabet title holder Buster Drayton; on the same bill an unbeaten Bomber lost his '0' to Bonecrusher Smith, but both Bruno and Kaylor came back strongly.

A few years later a young Michael Watson was matched up with the criminally underrated James Cook. Watson lost his '0', but came back strong, because he was allowed to learn from a defeat against a class operator.

Prospects are not allowed to lose now, and that is why they are matched up so very carefully.

The trolling of James Degale by Eubank Jr. warmed me to him a little. Also wasn't he a golden gloves winner? Agree he needs to step up somewhat and start fighting at a domestic level now though.

If Darren Barker can pick up a belt, who knows...

Don't see why Eubank Jnr can't get to Euro level at least.

I'm not a huge eubank jr fan, think he's a bit of a ***** BUT to say he has no power is absolutely ludicrous. That uppercut he threw against Borg was menacing! Also he stopped Ribchev with no problem who Brian rose had problems with. I think he'll make it past british level at least

The reality is Eubank Jr. won't be matched tough yet. He's clearly closely guided by his dad, who, was absolutely clear on the fact that boxing to him was about financial gain. At the moment, there isn't a significant financial benefit to take on mid-level fighters because the risk/reward is too high.

His name will eventually get him a well paid shot for something meaningful and that's when they'll step him up. When there's something meaningful on the line whether that be wider profile, a title of some sort or money. Buglioni might be known to us fans, but no one else.

    lol are you dumb

Eubank Jnr 83,000 twitter followers, Frampton 25,000, Frankie Gavin 21,000, Callum 22,000 ...... he has more than them 3 put together!

doesn't matter about crowd attendances. Eubank Jnr is fighting in front of millions on terrestial TV, the TV ratings on channel 5 are on a totally different level to Sky and Boxnation.

Outside of Northern Ireland, Frampton is only known by proper boxing fans. Eubank Jnr is known by casuals, and non boxing fans, Ive heard people talking about him who never talk about boxing, and that's whats wrong with boxing in this country.

I can't believe how little your knowledge is!

tbh that is to be expected given the popularity of his dad

nepotism reigns supreme in the media industry and i'm afraid that will NEVER change

right, twitter is gospel. My knowledge is little of what? Eubank aint even with Hennessy anymore so that's channel 5 out the window. What would be wrong would be if Eubank Jnr was headlining sky or boxnation, which his not. You say his super popular, but then dismiss my point about having no drawing power at shows..
