Froch as an amateur

    there's film of him boxing Andrey Gogolev in the 2001 worlds amateurs on youtube. He has got his hands higher than he does now.

    I vaguely remember seeing that fight. I'm sure it was televised and from what I remember of it it was a fair result. I seem to recall Froch dropping Inkin at some point but I also recall Froch either falling to pieces mentally or running out of gas when Inkin stepped it up. It was a long time ago though and maybe I'm confusing it with another one of his amateur fights.

    He also lost to Adrian Diaconu in Liverpool in a bid to go to the Sydney Olympics.

    Carl also doesn't really have a rhythm as a fighter and I think that throws people off more than is mentioned.

    It is very difficult to consistantly time someone that has no rhythm, its very awkward.

    He was stopped by Manfredo Jr, beaten by Inkin and Brahmer as well. He also boxed Jason Booth a few times winning most if not all.
