Seen him spar and spoke to him was totally normal. Lots u haters read internet **** and tAke it as gospel. No I'm not him or his team or gay hangers on. Fact is all hst crAp about him has got him some hype. Mission accomplished. Fools are so fickle

 

Maybe in the UK...but I'll ask once more (now thrice) - who the hell is he and why do we care?

All I can gather from a search online (which mostly points back to British forum threads here, by the way...and one at check hook) is that he was some kid in a weird family hot-housed to be a boxer from early on...but never actually garnered any major achievements in the amateurs, was a problem child and split on bad terms from the English team, and is now 1-0 in the pros. That is literally all searching turns up for useful info.

So...why the hype? What is special about him? Why is his sophomore outing important enough to be streamed on the internet?

 

Nothing special bit of internet hype which has worked very well. He's just trying to make it like anyone else. Pushy dad and plenty of haters. The end

I think there are many people treating him as a sort of "car crash waiting to happen". As IB pointed out he hasn't achieved anything yet.

He is being trained by Spencer Oliver here in the UK so has had some exposure in the UK based boxing media.

 

Feel a bit sorry for this kid. His parents seem like real ball breakers. He wrote on twitter the other day that his dad has got him learning Japanese because it's the hardest language to learn and also learning the piano.

Kid been on peds since about 10 google it ,the welsh absolutely hate him ,living in forest load of **** he's from cardiff ,trying to say he's English ,went through more clubs than tiger woods.Never fought internationals or big tournaments unless ,his dad could feed him he's been on a special diet since the day he was born !his dad's a right tosser ,just google him it's all there .

 

well to be fair he was Living in the Forest Of Dean for a while, it is a bit in bread out there, not sure they even have a tescos yet
