Romeo Rameao fight LIVE online tonight FREE

Im not blaming Oliver. Im stating that he is a poor trainer. He has been training for well over a decade and has produced nothing of note. None of the boxers he has trained have progressed. They ALL have failed at the first hurdle. Compare him with Don Charles who is in thw same gym. Saya it all.

 

It's not that he can't go far.. He's far too small for Super Feather... If he wants to take a serious pro career he needs to sort his weight. Rogowski is more than a journeyman he beat Carl Frampton in the Amateurs and he out worked Romeo last night. My concern is that Rogowski is quite small and can make Super Bantam!! He was pushing Romeo back the whole fight.. He is only 18 and needs some easier fights and a bit of time to try get some weight off..

 

I was looking online last night to see how tall Rogowski was but could not find out, as thought the same. still not convinced Romeo's listed height of 5ft 4 on box rec is right.

 

Rogowski is about 5ft 5 maybe slightly shorter and he was probably 1-2 inches taller than Romeo.. Rogowski fought my brother a few months back and was a good few inches shorter. He is a tough guy

 

Finally someone speaking sense.

His first two opponents have been alot tougher then he should have been facing at this stage of his career especially for someone who has had no amateur pedigree and fighting a couple of weight classes above what he should be fighting at.

Would like to see him drop 8lbs and aim to fight at the 122lbs Super Bantamweight limit where he may be stronger. If his team had any sense they'd let Romeo take 6 months off from fights and work in the gym on his obvious faults rather then rushing him back into the ring.

 

What needs to happen probably wont. ie get a trainer who reigns in his ego, not panders to it. But that'd mean daddy taking a back seat....

 

Agree with the weight issue, hes far to small for the weight and spencer oliver needs to sort it! instead they will feed his ego and say how he was fine and he hits l**** lightning etc, I found it strange that he was more satisfied by running away and being smug in retreat rather than be offensive in which he should not be getting pushed back from a super bantam! Rogowski is better than what people think having seen him first hand but hes tiny! I believe they over hyped the boy and within the next 6 months they are gonna wanna put him in with someone like Troy James or Ronnie Clark to fast track him for a british title fight in which he will be knocked out and thats the reason they are taking tricky fights to start with.

 

Looks like he'll have to take more supplements to lose some weight now.

 

I didn't think he looked too bad, probably scraped it by a point against a decent opponent. Needs to develop some real power if he wants to succeed at this weight mind.

The main thing I noticed was the ring girl was rough as arseholes!!!
