Khan barely has a chance, but it's hard to imagine it being more one-sided than the Gatti fight. That was just brutal.

There's such a dearth of good matchups for Floyd at 147 that I'm not even really bothered by this mismatch. The fans have already been ****ed over royally by not getting the Pacquiao fight, and it's lost a lot of its luster (although it's still a far better matchup than Mayweather-Khan). Of course, I still want to see it, but I'm realistic about the chances of it happening so it's not like my hopes are up about it.

Alvarez was definitely a solid opponent but Khan is nothing but a complete joke. This is a bigger joke than Ortiz and Guerrero combined.

Mayweather has beaten the bigger slower guys. Canelo offered strenghth and punching power and he was'nt slow.

154 lbs and below there is'nt a fighter out there thats the total package that can compete with Mayweather. So if we've seen him handle strenghth and power, I dont want to continue to see him be matched with the same types.

When was the last time Mayweather fought a fighter that was faster than he was? Probably Judah who matched his speed, and Judah gave him problems.
I'll take the current version of Khan to beat the version of Judah that Mayweather beat.

Khan is'nt an ATG type, but he at least offers a matchup dillema for Floyd to deal with that I want to see how Mayweather handles.

Khan imo being younger is faster than Mayweather and their height and reach are virtually identical.

Quick and fast guys usually dont like seeing that thrown right back at them.

Khan offers physical dillema's Mayweather is'nt accustomed to being matched with, thats why I'd much rather see Mayweather matched with Khan than a less skilled Pacquiao who's natually just smaller and who has several physical disadvantages that Khan does'nt.

Khan's speed will pose Mayweather a few issues early on making it least relatively competitive. But just like with Judah, Mayweather will adapt, especially as Khan's is always so damn predictable.

Khan will, as always lead and Mayweather will counter his head off. Once Mayweather has his timing down he'll stop Khan. I expect Mayweather to stop Khan between the 5th-8th rounds.

Khan clearly has not earned this huge opportunity and pay day but I don't think he'll be annihilated like Gatti was. Khan has all the physical tools to give Mayweather a tough fight, unfortunately he doesn't have the skills, technique or anywhere near enough ring intelligence to win. This will be an easy defence for Mayweather but not the complete white wash some are predicting.

Judah gave Mayweather trouble for three rounds, after that it was Mayweather all the way. Khan, despite his speed, is very predictable and easily timed as was proven many times already. Khan has one asset in this fight and it's speed, absolutely nothing else to seriously trouble Mayweather with. His boxing ability is very basic, obvious and predictable. Against someone like Mayweather you can't afford to be predictable and hope to pose serious problems in the process. Mayweather, who also offers speed Khan never dreamt he would ever have to deal with, will be there countering the predictable(yet speedy) one twos and combinations Khan made a career throwing. Sure, Mayweather doesn't possess serious power to spark Khan from the first counter but the more he catches him the more groggy Khan will eventually get all the way to his inevitable TKO loss.

Speed all alone isn't good enough to pose problems to Mayweather. If he had skills to back it up then sure, I'll be behind this fight all the way but he clearly doesn't. Even Khan's own trainer#4 said that Khan is in for a rude awakening if he decides to fight Mayweather. This is nothing but a cash-out fight for Khan who even he knows he has no hope in hell seriously competing in. Pacquiao on the other hand offers serious trouble to Mayweather since he has serious speed, skills, movement, stamina, solid chin and insane power. Pacquiao can and will trouble Mayweather even if he loses in the process, Khan has no hope in hell to even look competitive.

Why else would Khan watch the fight with his crew? Floyd is ringing Maidana as we speak.
