He has to learn some head movement, he's way to stiff, has to get out if the way of the punches.

If someone like Maidana can land as easily and frequently as he did, it just tells me Broner isn't an A level fighter. Even Khan was more elusive against Maidana and that says everything. Also, Broner's accuracy was shite, his punch output was minimal and the power wasn't there.

Mentally strong or not (I don't think he is), he has to make some major adjustments to his game to fight the top names.

I'm sure he will. He needed a bit of humbling.

I doubt he'll ever become elite though. He's too predictable as a fighter. When the other guy is punching, he's afraid to punch back. The fight must be his own pace or he'll be overwhelmed.

He's also too flat-footed. He can't box backwards. He has to improve his offensive skills.

This could be the best thing that could have happen to him. He is mentally and emotionally upset as well as physical but what does he do about it? First thing he needs to do is accept that this 1 loss isn't the end and that he needs to work on his craft. He has natural abilities and that is what h has been relying on. His foot work and moving on the heals of his feet instead of the balls needs to be corrected and he has to become a gym rat. I mean working on his craft. Jabs, head movement, footwork, feints, defensive movements other than the shoulder roll, ring iq etc. He made no adjustments and his corner had no answers. He got out boxed by a guy that he was suppose to be superior to in terms of boxing! Kind of reminded me of the Vargas vs Trinidad fight where young kid got handled and we will see what happens next.

Haven't seen much power from him against both Paulie and Maidana, crappy punch output. Broner would probably lose to Porter, Alexander and Khan.
