6 hours of 1 sided mismatches then 1 decent fight at the end? This has to be the last of these now. Put a 3 hour broadcast on and show 2 prospects then have 2 quality competitive fights on. These type of cards are going to turn people off boxing. Its boring. Look at the crowd in there people are yawning and ****. Even big boxing fans on this forum aren't entertained.
It's been poor. The way they've structured the card time wise has been horrendous. You've got fans of Boylan and Owen on facebook not knowing why the boys aren't shown live.
Agree - apart from the last fight is been as boring as hell the boxing this evening...as I knew it would be
There's nothing wrong with the cards. Eddie told Mandanda they were perfectly fine. No need for panic. Everybody move along in an orderly fashion. Good boys.
given air time to complete bums need to ****ing stop the show was atrocious their is real talent going unnoticed...
The main-event turned out to be a good fight, but the event as a whole was very poor. Hearn once again chooses quantity before quality. I blame Sky for giving Hearn the monopoly as they have proper fcuked British boxing up IMO.
Don't talk pish there was real good talent on show last night, do remember some fighters are in a learning curve and those were good fight at this stage. I enjoyed the full show but enjoyed Broner getting his ass kicked as well lol
Fair enough, but i hope your not just saying that because your on the payroll? As a fan i'm entitled to my opinion and IMO his shows are getting worse. He has got good fighters, but he's not putting them in enough competitive fights. As i said i'm a fan and i pay for my opinion and Hearn needs to get his wallet out and make better fights. I did enjoy watching Broner getting beat myself though lol
You need ideally need a decent main event and two other competitive fights. Last night only really only had two competitive fights- some of the time Hearn needs to adjust his cards according to competitiveness. Joshua has been a big miss over the past couple of months for Matchroom.
I'm certainly not on Matchroom or Eddie hearn's payroll Ryan I get paid to do as good a job as I can being a boxing coach, people need to understand there's levels in boxing and it's not as easy as you may think making fights
I'm a fan of what Eddie has done already for British boxing. However, this year has been poor from Matchroom. In terms of domestic shows there have been FAR too many mismatches and average main events. Their policy seems to have become use as many well known fighters in easy fights in order to draw in better ratings. While it is good we are getting more boxing on Sky....This policy is unsustainable and those new fans will become tired of seeing uncompetitive shows.
Surely you can understand fan's wanting to see competitive fights though, and given the lack of boxing dates on sky and Eddies monopoly we should be getting better than what we are currently, it was **** poor last night and the Froch/Groves undercard was the most boring spectacle I've seen for some time.
