Props to Broner for taking a real challenge, he could have fought any number of scrubs and padded his record but he fought a hard hitting dangerous fighter in Maidana. He lost, its no big deal we the fans won with an enjoyable night of boxing.

If only Floyd had the balls to do the same. too many posters giving him a pass while he avoids Pac and the real challenges

Broner gets alot of criticism, and it is well deserved on many levels, but moving up 2 divisions, and taking on a puncher like Maidana in his 2nd fight at the weight is ambitious. Hey, he got thrown into the deep end of the pool, gave himself a test and failed. No shame in that.

Yes, Maidana is a real challenge. Meanwhile, Mayweather is fighting scrubs like Alvarez and Cotto. Now they're talking about matching him up against Khan. Maidana is way better than Khan.

There are tougher fights at 147 than Maidana, Broner has no business at 147.

Floyd has fought way better fighters than Maidana so your point is moot. Also to put it in perspective Floyd is currently being criticized for rumors of him fighting a guy that smoked Maidana and dropped him in route to a WIDE UD

He was fcking with you. Khan beat Maidana remember?

Anyway, Broner took his first real challenge and lost. And yes, there is shame in that, when youre claiming youre the heir to the throne. If he didnt claim it then okay, but he did. It makes him look bad.

To be fair, Maidana was brought in for 2 reasons.

    - They thought he wasn't the same fighter he was at 140 and doesn't carry his power the same.

    - Broner was meant to look good against him. Come forward, bit flat footed etc usually keeps it simply. Broner was in there to land shots whenever he wanted, look flash blah blah and it backfired!

On another note, Ass Beat claimed that he would KO Maidana and well got his ass handed to him. After the fight, he run out of the ring. Truly shameful. :deal

Don't talk **** when you can't back it up.

Broner didn't move up two weight divisions and fight two dangerous 147lb fighters. He moved up two weight divisions and fought two former 140lb fighters, one ageing and featherfisted, the other considered one dimensional and susceptible to a body attack.
