You don't care if testing agency doesn't follow strict testing protocols?

Of course, you know a lot more about these things than the VADA professionals who did the tests on Rios.

Again I ask: why is plastic better than glass? Stop pretending to know about these things just to protect your hero Brandon Rios.

I guarantee, now that Ariza is blaming the glass cup.... that he will soon stop using that as VADA probably still has the samples of the earlier tests and they can re-test them for stimulants. Which is why they (VADA) mentioned that the earlier tests weren't tested for stimulants but that they still can be...... only the one on the day of the fight is tested for it...

Who can trust Victor Conte? The guy is a jailbird and a known PED provider... everytime this fool opens his mouth and starts promoting VADA alarm bells start going off about VADA's credibilty.

If they really used a glass that is just fking ridiculous. If Ariza has evidence about that **** then he should show it, Ariza is still a POS tho.

Hahahaha - how do they know it was a drinking glass was the guy drinking from it - before or after - didn't Juan Manuel Marquez run the testing? Maybe that is why it was a drinking glass.

With a stimulant, a fighter doesn't need to take it until right before the fight. They could go through their entire training camp and never take it. In that case it's moot to test for it. I'm not familiar with the lab SOP's to test for stimulants, it may require special preps and be cost prohibitive to test for something at that stage under those circumstances? If not, then you're right it wouldn't hurt to test for them. But the major benefit of a stimulant is on the night of the fight.

As far as the tests being invalid, look at Sturm-Soliman. Soliman won a decision due to his high work-rate, which may have been attributed to the stimulant he took just prior to their fight. The post-fight test caught it, and rightfully took away his victory.

Look at WADAs list. Stimulants are banned in competition whereas for example steroids are banned always. The don't test stimulants out of competition for that simple reason.

Edit: perhaps I should be more clear. It's not that they are condone people to smoke pot or inject heroine but if they do that in training for a competition it is not likely to give them any advantages.

Yea but it should be tested for throughout, Rios probably didnt know that was illegal under the guidelines.
