    Remember this quote??

"Another one it's going to happen to, as soon as he gets the right man in his face, is Broner," Mayweather Sr. said. "Broner, so far, so good. He's doing it the best of anyone else that's did it. But then, also, he's had stiffs in front of him. He hasn't had no real fighter in front of him, man.
"When he gets somebody real in front of him, he's going to forget all about the roll. The roll won't even be there, believe me. The roll won't be there, none of that other stuff - picking off, catching, rolling - you won't see none of that."

Maidana was killing Broner last night with the left hook, which ****ed up his jaw. The rolling, the slipping, catching went right out the window. You never see Floyd get hit with left hooks, and every blue moon a right hand might get through. Senior had this kid scouted down right to the tee and last night Maidana exposed it for the world to see. Damn shame to cause I like Broner but oh well, he needs to humble himself, and work on his craft. If he's want to emulate anything that Mayweather does, then first and foremost it should be Floyd's work ethic and dedication to the sport and staying in shape, and in the gym year around.

Broner needs to figure out if he wants this. Everybody is not a boxer for a reason, it takes hard work and sacrifice. He can try to be a rapper, or be a scumbag, or be a boxer, but he's proved that he's not able to pull off all three.

I thought he was just hating but Floyd Sr was spot on with his prediction can't knock him for that.

He does not have the dedication, to master his craft like floyd does.

I did too. I didn't think he was a good as Floyd of course, but I thought Sr. was being little harsh, but damnit if he didn't call it.

Actually, Broner kept using the shoulder roll all fight he just didn't do it as well as Mayweather so SR. wasn't completely right. Also, Floyd does get hit with left hooks but he is a much better counter puncher than Broner and so his opponents get discouraged from trying.

The only thing he was wrong about is they didn't have to wait for him to fight somebody who is that 'real'.

But the roll doesn't take away the left hook...it takes away the right hand.:deal

If you keep your right hand up like Floyd does it will neutralize the hook.

The shoulder roll kind of ruined Broner and Berto

If they just fought normally they wouldnt be as bad

Broner was getting caught standing straight up too many times to count. It was almost as if he wanted to do his arrogant little head shake after the 3rd punch came, but didn't realize 4 and 5 were coming too. Maidana really is a beast , excellent boxer.

Broner was not moving that head like he should, was backing straight out standing up. AND he wasn't throwing punches....

    Just IMO

What does that make you if you're calling Sr. a genius?
