It's clear by his arms he's hitting the gym nowadays and he normally comes across as quite articulite although his answers last night were obvious. I like him though, thought he did quite well in commentary last weekend - watching the Gomez fight is still tough going - that was a tough watch!
I thought he seemed fine quite witty even with his point about the footballers also thought he was really good as a pundit offered a much more insightful analysis than we usually get from jim watt
It was more at the start of the show, he seemed like he was staring into the floor.. Lol. He does get his point across well thoe..
Coming away from the original post.....looking at it from a neutral point of view, his fight against Gomez is one of the best British fights I have ever seen, tremendous action from both fighters!
Maybe its something simple like he lost a fiver earlier and he cant remember were, id bet he'd remember eventually alright
Seems a bit cross eyed so it appears as if he's being a bit vacant when he's not. I do think sometimes he's trying hard to suppress what he really thinks
It's good that he's got a spot on ringside even though he never quite it the top in the sport. so IMO it would be hard for him to give a worthwhile opinion on the very top fights particularly how the fighter thinks and trains for specific fights as he's not done it himself unlike McGuigan,McCrory,Woodhall ect ect
he certainly was staring into the floor.. :good On a serious note I would rather listen to him than that annoying bloke Jim Watt..
