    Maidana will not be fighting Pacquiao. GBP + TR = no fight. Pacquiao will probably fight Bradley next.

    mismatch, but I would like to give maidana his paycheck.. He kinda deserves it after that Broner beatdown.

    What because Maidana beat a D-Level fighter?

    Amir Khan beat a better fighter than Broner in his last fight and has already beaten Maidana.

    Broner was 156, Maidana was 161. Floyd was 150 against Canelo. Maidana would enjoy a significant weight advantage. Its the skills that set Floyd apart not size.

    Come on man... Paulie has a better chance than Maidana. Floyd has faced too many come straight forward guys. I wouldn't give him any better odds than Canelo. Lets see floyd fight a different style.

    This isn't a fight I'd want to see for either guy, and I personally think it would be a waste of time for Floyd and the fans.

    Why's it the best marketable fight?

    Are you forgetting Devon Alexander shut out Maidana, and if Devon can do it, Floyd certainly will. Khan has also beat Maidana.

    Both those guys are better options than Maidana. As is Shawn Porter and Keith Thurman.

    As would Danny Garcia, Lamont Peterson and Lucas Matthysse.

    Just because Maidana beat a Lee Purdy level fighter doesn't mean he's the best available fight for Floyd.
