Maidanas wins over Karass and Lopez were decent, but not the best. Beating Broner definitely puts him into contention though

Kovalev and Golovkin share a similar sort of year, but none of the names were elites of the division. (Cleverly was always overrated)

Mayweather deserves a shout for winning the biggest fight of the year convincingly.

Rigondeux is aswell, beating a Donaire a top 5 p4p, and then Agbeko is serious work.

Garcias win over Judah is not all that, but his win over Matthyse puts him into the top 3 in contention.

Its been tough to call this year

what's with all the kneejerk reactions? Maidana can't possibly win FOTY under any scenario. He beat Lopez and Broner

He did the sport a great service by silencing the Broner hype and humbling the arrogant goof.

Yet that performance against Broner will be remembered long after others are forgotten.

Provodnikov. Impressively beat a very good boxer in Alvarado and was involved in a great fight pushing one of the top p4p fighters Bradley right to the limit.
