It was not very close. Adalaide Byrd is a terrible judge and prefers blacks.

I know its ridiculous after his showing against Smith last time out (Molina this is) but afterwards he DID call out Mayweather, so yeah, by that logic maybe he wants a shot to. Nobody knows Molina and he will call anybody out so he can get a decent payday. Everybody wants a shot with the Money man...... your going to get paid!!

Mundine's had more pull than any aussie fighter since Kostya Tszyu. So why stop at Ishe Smith as an opponent.

He threw millions at Mosley when Mosley didn't look that good against Cano plus he's 42 years old. Again he's cherry picking by going after Smith who has a few decent wins on the record but won none of them in dominating fashion.

Smith isn't a bad fighter and has a lot more left in the tank than Mosley had. But a win against Smith is not gonna send a shock wave around the world just like beating Mosley didn't. Why not go after Erislandy Lara who just made a massive statement by dominating Trout or Saul Alvarez who everyone knows is top-knotch?

If he wasn't calling out Mayweather I'd think atleast he's fighting someone half-decent but when he's ducking the cream of the crop and targeting the middle of the range you have to accept he's simply calling out Mayweather for publicity.

And if you want to say it's a tune-up before a bigger fight, I don't accept that. He knows Mayweathers only got a few left before calling it quits so there's no wasting time to get to the front of the que.

With the money he throws around he could get just about any JuniorMiddle, other than Mayweather, so why is he stopping at Smith?

The fight is on January 29. I'll be surprised if he gets Smith.

Based on the fighters amongst the top fighters at jumior middle Smith would be a great get for January. Lara only fought two weeks ago.

I get that. But then make the fight for March and get someone like Lara. If he's going around saying he wants Mayweather then screw this warm-up sh!t off and fight someone that beating will make a statement

Despite an extremely flattering BoxRec ranking of 6 Mandy will shamelessly
duck most if not all of the top 15 ranked light middles while still
    bleating about fighting Mayweather.

IMO Mandy's punch resistance is suspect.
The well shot Mosley shook him up with a couple of good right hands.
At last he'll have to fight a real live one if he is to gain any semblance of credibility.

    Don't hold your breath.

He has been saying the same crap every year for the last 10 years. Some of you are starting to think he might step up because he beat an atrocious Mosley. Mundine will NEVER have a crack at one of the big guns - he doesn't have the balls :deal

  11. Looking at MayweatherÂ’s 3 most recent opponents, this is who they have fought in the year leading up to their fight with Mayweather:

    Mayweather v Saul Alvarez - 14/09/2013
Alvarez had fought in the year leading up to Mayweather
    20/04/2013 Austin Trout 26-0 Won UD 12
    15/09/2012 Josesito Lopez 30-4 Won TKO 5

    Mayweather v Robert Guerrero - 04/05/2013
Guerrero had fought in the year leading up to Mayweather
    24/11/2012 Andre Berto 28-1 Won UD 12
    28/07/2012 Selcuk Aydin 23-0 Won UD 12

    Mayweather v Miguel Cotto - 05/05/2012
Cotto had fought in the year leading up to Mayweather
    03/12/2011 Antonio Margarito 38-7 Won TKO 12
    12/03/2011 Ricardo Mayorga 29-7 Won RTD 9

The guys Mundine is fighting aren't going to make Mayweather take notice.
