This year we've had a few Brits involved in World Title fights, some have been successful, some haven't. Threads on here are often based on World Title fights or British fighters who are close to fighting World Titles so I thought I would mix it up a bit.

Who will be British Champion in each weight division by the end of 2014?

I know a year is a long time to look ahead in boxing and anything can happen, but who would be your predictions to be holding the Lonsdale Belt in their division this time next year?

Also, which British title fights would we like to see next year? I know that some potential fights wont be made due to Promotional issues or Promoters wanting their fighters to go the International/Intercontinental route in order to get rankings with the organisations. Forget about that though, were talking in an ideal world.

My predictions are (and some of them are complete guesswork)

    Champions -

    Heavyweight - Anthony Joshua

    Cruiserweight - John Lewis Dickinson

    Light Heavyweight - Enzo Mac

    Super-Middleweight - Callum Smith

    Middleweight - John Ryder

    Light-Middleweight - Liam Smith

    Welterweight - Glen Foot

    Light-Welterweight - Bradley Saunders

    Lightweight - Derry Mathews

    Super-Featherweight -Gary Sykes

    Featherweight -Ryan Walsh

    Super Bantamweight -Jazza Dickens

    Bantamweight - Kal Yafai

    Super Flyweight -Jamie Conlan

    Flyweight - Iain Butcher

Here are some fights that I would like to see too

    Callum Smith vs Rocky Fielding
    Liam Smith vs Joe Selkirk
    Derry Mathews vs John Murray
    Bradley Saunders vs Thomas Stalker
    Glen Foot vs Chad Gaynor
John Lewis Dickinson vs Stephen Simmons

Some people will have conpletely different ideas and there may be a few fighters who I've forgot off the top of my head so any input is welcome....what do you's think?....

    Heavyweight - Derek Chisora

    Cruiserweight - Stephen Simmons

    Light Heavyweight - Enzo Macranelli

    Super-Middleweight - Callum Smith

    Middleweight - Eubank Jnr

    Light-Middleweight - Liam Smith

    Welterweight - Denton Vessell
Gavin Vacates once he wins it outright and Vessell is strongest for me

    Light-Welterweight - Darren Hamilton/ Tyrone Nurse
Hamilton vacates to move on , unless Brad Saunders gets active hes best LW for me

    Lightweight - Terry Flannigan
Best lightweight in the UK bar none. Nobody will fight him

    Super-Featherweight - Ronnie Clark
Gary Sykes vacates after he wins londsdale outright and for me he beats Troy James

    Featherweight -Josh Warrington
Beats Ryan Walsh for me in what could be a FOTY contender. Both game as they come

    Super Bantamweight -Gavin McDonnell

Galahad vacates and for me he beats Dickens

    Bantamweight - Kal Yafai

    Super Flyweight -Jamie Conlan

    Flyweight - Iain Butcher

For me I believe Butcher gets a shot and wins his title

dont agree with tyrone nurse at lww, cant see him beating lenny daws.

have to disagree with eubank jr at middleweight aswell, i dont think hes going to go the british title route personally.

i also think larry ekundayo is more likely to win the ww title than glen foot

This would be a great fight over 8-10 rounds and I'm sure Chad would like to avenge the Prizefighter defeat.

Heavyweight - Anthony Joshua (There isnt many other Heavyweights and I think Hughie Fury will not attempt for the British)

    Cruiserweight - Stephen Simmons

Light Heavyweight - Arfan Iqbal (Weak division and I have been impressed by this kid. He could certainly make a move up)

Super-Middleweight - Callum Smith (I believe he will beat Rocky Fielding later on next year for Commonwealth/British championships)

Middleweight - Adam Etches (Good power and good boxing skills very over looked.)

    Light-Middleweight - Liam Smith

    Welterweight - Larry Ekundayo

    Light-Welterweight - Chris Jenkins

    Lightweight - Terry Flanagan

    Super-Featherweight - Gary Sykes

    Featherweight -Ryan Walsh

    Super Bantamweight - Michael Walsh

    Bantamweight - Martin Ward

    Super Flyweight - Kal Yafai

    Flyweight - Kevin Satchell

Paul Butler (WBO and WBA Intercontinental Super Flyweight Champion)
Jamie McDonnell (Former IBF Bantamweight Champion)
Scott Quigg (WBA Super Bantamweight Champion)
Carl Frampton (IBF Intercontinental Super Bantamweight Champion)

Heavyweight - Hughie Fury... Chisora looking at world title expect Fury to fight for vacant title and win.

Cruiserweight - Stephen Simmon. Big year for the big man

    Light Heavyweight - Enzo Mac

Super Middle - Callum Smith.. I believe that belt is vacant or will be soon

Middleweight - John Ryder has a very very good chance once BJS vacates

Light Middle - Kris Carslaw - the nearly man can see him winning the title in 2014 always in a close fight

    Welterweight - Denton Vasell

Light Welterweight - Curtis Woodhouse- this is more hope than anything

Lightweight - Tommy Coyle - Crolla will beat Gethin then Coyle will beat Crolla

Super Featherweight - Ronnie Clark - 50/50 fight between Sykes/Walsh. I believe Ronnie would beat the winner although I think Ronnie will win the vacated belt late in the year.

    Feather - Ryan Walsh

    Super Bantam - Jezza Dickens

Bantam - Gavin McDonnell very poor weight domestically

    Super Fly - Kal Yafai

    Flyweight Ian Butcher

There is quite a few strong divisions where fighters will need a bit of luck. I think we will see some British World Champions this year too..

Heavyweight - Fury and Chisora.. I believe Fury will fight and win this year against whoever picks up Vitali's belt.. I fancy Wlad to take the risk on Chisora and lose.

Cruiserweight - Clev will fight for a form of a World Title probably a easy route knowing Frank. I expect him to pick up a title

Super Middle - expect Froch to retire after next fight. Both Froch and Groves be champions this year.

Middleweight - Martin Murray will be world Champ

Light Middle - Brian Rose - seems to have luck on his side

Welterweight - Kel Brook - I think he will have a good year.

Light Welter - Ricky Burns - I expect win lose or draw we will see him up at light Welter and fighting for a belt.. If he was still with Frank I would say almost a shoe in to be a 3 weight world Champion. I still think he can do it though

Lightweight - Terry Flannigan - he just needs a chance and I think he will get it this year. Kevin Mitchell in with a chance as well

Super Feather - Liam Walsh/Stephen Smith - I think Liam is silly fighting for the British when he has a chance of moving forward for the big titles. I see Smith pipping him too this title although Walsh is better

Feather - Lee Selby - good chance this year

Super Bantam - Can we see 3 Brits at 1 weight?? I expect Quigg and Frampton to hold belts but could see Galahad sneaking through.

    Super Fly - Paul Butler

I expect this to be a huge year for British boxing can see above 6 champions of the World.
