Yes, I meant with regards to their willingness to go out and fight the best.

I think if Floyd had've been in their era, in the early 80's, I don't think he'd have fought at 147 whilst Ray, Duran and Hearns were there. That's my honest opinion.

    is this a joke poll?

    jones-hopkins>>>>floyd's entire carreer.

floyd hasnt fought anyone that comes close to a hopkins to even warrant the word unbeatable on floyd.

history showed he ducked the tough/risky fights.

floyd's entire career is not even equivalent to a 1 fight like say, duran over leonard, pac over barrera.

if i have a choice to watch at ringside ali vs. foreman and floyd's entire carreer. id be in africa in a hearbeat.

Assuming Jones and Mayweather were of comparable sizes and weight classes, and in their primes, I give the edge to Jones. If Mayweather tries to counter Jones his timing would be off because Jones' reflexes and speed would throw him off. Jones would land his punches with awkward angles and speed. Imagine what old man Mosley did to Mayweather in round 2 of their fight, but Jones would be more consistent. However, it would be a decision win for Jones because Mayweather's resilience and defense would allow him to go the distance.

this is nothing in floyd's resume that comes close to prime hopkins or jones.

    this is moot point.

if he beat pac easy, then and only then, we can carry this kind of conversation.

Floyd fought the much better competition and took far less punishment.

Roy Jones got dropped by Del Valle and Lou connected with 40% of his punches. You think a fighter of that calibre would connect at a 40% rate against Floyd and even put him over? :rofl

becayse floyd isnt really that good.

    ability = competition.

fight a bum and you would look like superman.

floyd carefully chooses opponents that will showcase his abilities. its a con act. and his ******ed fans lapped them up like gospel.

when the risks are too high to his liking, comes the list of excuses why not.

    Oh my god :rofl

Paul Williams got spanked by Carlos Quintana, yet he's UNBEATABLE at 154lbs and down?
He has the worst defense of any championship calibre fighter, he does not use his height and reach, yet he's unbeatable.

    Mmmmm, ok...

    Floyd would've murdered him.

    roy-hopkins>>>floyd's entire carreer.

it is sad that your hero's whole career can not even beat roy's 1 fight.

    Yes, yes.. of course.

A win against a fighter with no prior championship experience > Floyd's career.

Wake up and smell the coffee you mong.

Oh and tennis, PW wouldn't survive 5 rounds against Thomas Hearns or Ray Robinson.
