The comparison is really on point. Bash Berto, but he accomplished some stuff and beat some decent fighters... he just degraded and started fighting unbelievably stupid with this faux shoulder roll thing.

Broner doing the same and getting beaten up employing it ineffectively is hilarious.

I remember silly boxing fan comparing Broner to Jersey Joe Walcott and James Toney.

    Yawn.

BERTO is on point. Only Berto did more.

He's definitely not comparable to those guys but he fights the similar style/stance. Mayweather fights similarly in his own way as well. This doesn't mean that these guys can be compared with one another.

who the **** did berto beat? luis collazo who he got a gift decicion from, carlos quintana who was shot and retired straight afterwards? who? beating guys like malignaggi and demarco represents more then anything berto did in his career. berto was beaten to a bloody pulp by anyone half way decent.

berto switched his **** whole style up.. to this shoulder roll ****

hey does any one even notice floyd doesnt even do the roll like that anymore. under his dad he doesnt really sit still to even do that.

Broner is much more talented than Berto. I get the sense that Broner could do more, but doesn't(hasn't completely matured). Whereas Berto is maxed out.

Well, they both looked very good against lower-tier opposition and fooled a lot of people into thinking they would be elite fighters.

If Berto and Broner were to fight in 3 months, I'd pick Berto to stop Broner. His offense is a bit more varied and he actually throws more than 5 punches a round. He still has his hand speed, but out of the two and seeing their adversity, Berto has the bigger heart.

Besides Berto at least beat Urango, Collazo (debatable), Hernandez in 1 (LMW champs Lara and Andrade went the distance) and there was that war with Victor Ortiz.

Berto wasnt a bad fighter and he was screwed a bit in the guerrero fight with the constant holding and hitting that Guerrero employed (I just cant stand the guy)

Im sure if Berto boiled down to 130-135 he would have been branded a monster but instead he fought people his own size
