Idk why DeGales handlers are.doing this.to.him! Marco Antonio Periban is a beast with KO power and iron chin! He was ROBBED against Bika and Badou Jack...

I predict a 4th round KO by Periban

Had a quick twitter search, seems discussions are taking place for a WBC eliminator.

If he ever wants to make it at world level he's going to need to take and win fights like these

I do believe this is a winnable fight for James. he can out box Periban and has a decent enough chin to be honest.

There was no robbery in the Bika fight did not see the other 1. This is a contest between 2 teak tough contenders. My pick is DeGale on points he has proved he has a great chin and good boxing ability as well (am I right in thinking he's never been down as a pro). He will have a few scares but show his class. Either way it is a fight that will bring exposure for him and answers about what level he's at now.

I don't see this as a difficult fight for James. Think he will win by a reasonable wide UD.

This is the same Periban who struggled with Francisco Sierra who Groves easily put away in 6....Groves couldn't put Degale away, I personally had that fight as a draw.

    Degale easily.

as long as Degale doesn't sit on the ropes he should win with a UD.

Degale is quality just gone of the rails with political ****.

Dégale is good he's like a poor man calzaghe . Puts in accurate shots at average power. Just lacks work rate. Has good legs and head movement seems to be a good boxer , under rated IMO

    Beats this dude UD PTs

think degale will have his hands full here ... periban dropped bika and hes teak tough ... although he was wobbled bad by dirrell in his next fight ... degale outboxes him easy but i think if periban lands clean degales lights will go out . Hes never fought a puncher , bar maybe groves who fought like a non puncher that night ...

Dégale fights off back foot so they are diff. His punching technique reminds me of calzaghe tho. Few clicks off full power to make sure it lands accurately especially to body

Why are some posters on this board unable to put forward a discussion properly ? It has to be fighter A will KTFO out of fighter B, why can't the discussion be ... James Degale vs Periban looks like it could happen, I fancy Periban because of ...... what do others think ? No it has to be total hatred, it's idiotic.

Degale will win easy, he's done enough to be fighting bika already, who I think he will beat comfortably too. He really has been on the slow burner for an olympic gold medalist!
