Do you even know what natural means? A natural welter weight is a fit guy who easily makes the weigh in at or below 147 without having to starve and do extreme dehydration. Broner made the weigh in with no issue and look like a tank . His fight night weight was about 157. That is the very definition of a NATURAL welter.

Broner being able to dehydrate down to 135 then weighing 150 for fight night is not what anyone would call a natural 135 lb.

At welter Broner still has speed and decent power. The difference at 147 is now punches will hurt him and hurt him bad.

So please spare us this he isn't a natural welter.

 

He should start a clean slate at 140. He has no power at 147. And doing shoulder rolls are great for self preservation but they wont win you rounds.

I don't get the connection between Kid Chocolate, Mickey Bey, and Adrien Broner. If you watch boxing solely to watch other races/ethnicities lose fights then you are not a real boxing fan. Bey or somebody else from Mayweather Promotions being on roids, EPO's, PEDs, Gandalf spells and super pellets don't have nothing to do with Broner losing to Maidana. The way some of you guys talk, you'd think all of these black fighters were on the same promotion team.

He weighed in at 144lbs, his two fights at 147lbs both show he's not supposed to be there yet.
Like Doc Everlast said, he should aim towards a 140lbs title.

They want him to go to 140 in hope he has a size advantage. Bad news for him s that the top dogs at 140 can take punches and their punches have powers.

I wasn't sold on Broner based on his previous fights. He is to easy to hit. Paulie was able to land almost at will but no power. Gavin Rees had success but no power and no chin got him. So even if he goes down to 140 I see him in the same trouble if he faces Garcia, Mathysse, or Prov.

 

Hype jobs is the common theme, keep up, not race. The PED results are just icing on the cake.
