Is he homeless and suicidal because Ricky told him to bet his house on him winning against Floyd?

Ricky gave him a pint of alcohol as the homeless man, a career alcoholic, was going through terrible withdrawals that likely would have killed him.

It's fortunate that Hatton was drinking heavily at 11am when he encountered the homeless gentleman, and upon seeing him seizing in a gutter, poured some of his favorite ale into the mans mouth.

Hero is a strong word, and these days it's hard to find a man worth the weight of it. Ricky Hatton, friends, is a hero.

    Cool story.

I've always felt that Ricky Hatton was a real cool and nice guy.

"Suicidal homeless man says chance meeting with Ricky Hatton saved his life"

"it was like looking into the future and seeing what I'd be like after another ten years of alcohol abuse. It was terrifying" says man.

Good that sportspeople can have such a positive influence in someone's life.

But how is this same "suicidal homeless man" going to react now "his Mayweather" got his a_s whooped this weekend? :think
