Imo if amir khan gets the may fight he will win. Not because he is superior to floyd just that his style is most suited. Obv i have been ridiculed for this opinion and, on paper rightly so. But khan will win and win easy.

Provo - also has a chance but may lack the ring iq. His power is undeniable and his looping/arch like punches would cause trouble up close.

Bradley - again very good in most areas but floyd is great in the same areas

    my question is..

Which fighter is most likely to beat mayweather and why??

Khan might win a round or two early with his speed but Floyd can and will adjust to it. If Garcia can time and counter Khan after he gets used to the speed then I think its safe to assume Floyd can too.

The issue is that Khan's offense becomes too predictable and he makes too many defensive mistakes.

beyond 2014, starts to be 50/50. the farther the better for floyd.

by the time pac is out of arum's contract, he is 80 yrs old.

fight wil be made immediately and teh *****s will claim it was arum all along holding back the fight.

i agree totally. The difference imo is that garcia didnt time khan more planted his feet and threw a shot more from frustration than skill. Garcia has ko power and floyd does not. Garcia also has the killer instinct, that when a fighter is hurt he will jump all over them until the job is done. Again floyd does not fight this way. People forget garcia was being schooled until the left landed. I remember at end of rd 2 daddy garcia nearly crying at what he was seeing. Of course the left landed and the rest is history. Floyd will land the check left, of course he will, he is the master. But weather he has the power to halt khan is a different matter.

Amir have been stopped, dropped, and rolled by lesser men. Please break down in your view how Khan would beat Floyd so easily.

how can 1 man be so far in front of the rest. I mean this is hardly a division light of talent. In fact probably the best the division has looked for a while.

Do you think you have better chance as boxer or puncher??

mate, its not my job to hype a fight and also if i had my way khan wouldnt be getting the fight. I agree with all the neigh-sayers on here...not worthy, too chinny, no defence, crap footwork etc etc the list goes on. But styles make fights and khan has the style to not only beat floyd, but it will look easy when compared to previous wins (maidana, diaz etc).
He is to quick and wouldnt have to rely on roughing up floyd like all other opponents. He is the 1 fighter that can fight floyd on the outside. Floyd will have trouble matching the work rate of khan and wont/cant exude the energy needed to keep up.

I dont think any one in 147 does it, or 154 for that matter except Lara. I would have to give the biggest chance to Lara on points.

i think if were including 154 id have to mention ggg. Looks very good technically and grenades in both fists. I think a puncher stands a better chance of victory than a boxer as floyd has mastered the craft.

Still think Pacquiao can beat Mayweather. Just think Mayweather will freeze when he's in there with Pacquiao.
