Was this the biggest schooling since Cal vs Lacy.

Is there anything else British boxing fans fantasize about other than Calzaghe(a man with 40 fights) schooling someone with 20 fights?

That was a rather sensational performance wasnt it? So, basically Calzaghe vs Lacy set the standard of being schooled. A 10 rating of getting schooled is Calzaghe vs Lacy. Where as a 1 rating would be a Gatti vs Ward type rockem sockem robots sorta fight.

    Since then....
You have to consider that it was the underdog that did the schooling against an undefeated fighter. There havent probably been any others as brutal but possibly Hopkins coming off a loss where some thought he was finished and beat Pavlik, only thing was Pavlik was 2 divisions below. Maybe Froch beating Bute might be the biggest one since as they were both SMWs

Curtis wasnt the favourite but he talked a big game, talked about how he was going to fvck up and kill GGG. He had a fairly large support base of morons here saying he was going to expose GGG, but Curtis was absolutely beaten down and quit. That was a huge schooling.

Cmon Terry, Gennady was a big favourite in that fight, can't remember the odds I checked but they were wide.

If you bet on Golovkin I think you got your money back +10%

I think he was a 1.10 favorite or so.

I thought that was actually a good deal LOL.

Curiously there was another utter schooling involving Cloud - one that was in fact a lot closer in style to Zaggy - Lacy.

Campillo simply boxed the crap outta Cloud for 11 rounds (despite the first round KD - which also is reminiscent of Zaggy), yet somehow Cloud was given the points win in one of the most blatant robberies I can remember. It was at this point it became absolutely apparent that Tavoris Cloud was simply not a world class fighter and had very average skills.

I'm not trying to take away from Stevenson, but Cloud had already been shown up as just not very good.

Calzaghe. The very mention of his name brings tears to the eyes of Americans, and jobby to the pants of their fighters

Adonis is like a bigger version of Lacy

Calzaghe in the mood he was in that night would literally ruin Adonis' career
