What are some steps you would take to improve the Japanese boxing scene?

They should all take stage names like wrestlers so it's easier for me is a foreign observer to remember their names

One big english speaking star would do wonders.

Crack down on hometown cooking. Also, their champs should venture outside their borders more often in order to get international exposure, instead of mostly remaining at home.

Increasing the percentage's of other ethnicities to start. More competition equals a better product.

They already have a better lineup of fighters than every country other than the US, Mexico, UK... pretty much.

South of Lightweight possibly the strongest line up of fighters of any nation :deal

Uchiyama, Yamanaka, Ioka, Yaegashi, Takayama, Miura, Tomoki Kameda all hold world titles down there.

I'll take Japan's 10 best over theirs most likely. Uchiyama, Yamanaka, Miyazaki, Ioka, Yaegashi, Takayama, Miura, Kameda X3, or substitute one out with Hasegawa.

Inoue and Murata are amazing talents despite only having 5 and 2 fights respectively.
