What's your opinion of him? A couple of his tweets have really annoyed me recently, just wondering what everyone else thinks?
Don't like him. Arrogant and to be honest I have seen him call out boxers on heart and stuff which I don't like l, given like me I doubt he has ever laced them up. He is also agenda driven and genuinely I didn't haven't read an article of his containing the name Tim Bradley without him mentioning the 'gift' with Pacquiao. Get over it already. Something very conceited about him in my opinion. I don't care for Lee Purdy as a boxer but I read a bit where he said something like 'Purdy showed nothing by missing weight and even less in the ring with a terrible display'. One Purdy had struggles with the weight and was taking the fight at short notice. He tried to make it and he simply couldn't. Secondly he gave it a shot and was simply put of his depth. Just would me up.
He's a *****. Disrespectful wanker. I'm certainly not one of those people who believes you shouldnt talk boxing if you've never got in the ring before but that fat ****er clearly hasn't seen a gym or sports session in his adult years let alone fought. How he thinks he has any right to questions fighters' commitment and/or heart is beyond me. Fat curly headed ****
He is over rated but has a bully pulpit with ESPN.Not much you can do about except stop reading his column. He never answers the tough questions on his blog.
I seem to be in the minority that actually quite like him. He is arrogant ill give you that, but that just seems to be american journalists for you. I think him being opinionated and pretty stubborn makes a change from a lot of the British pundits and journalists in Boxing who all suck up each others arse.
Just like most of the journo's in the sport. They don't want to say anything that will affect their free passes, interviews and ringside seats. But they want us to listen to them while they just talk shite. To hell with Rafael as the fat ****s job is pointless.
