I believe the most important questions that will decide the fight are:
    This content is protected
It looked like it in the weight in photos. I heard he had little sleep the night before the Froch fight trying to make the weight.
But it might only be a wishful thinking out of Bute's fans, since he made 167.1 for that weight in, his lowest since the 2009 rematch against Librado Andrade. I wonder if the rumour was started by a fan wanting to find an excuse for what was a quite shocking outcome.
If he wasn't drained for the Froch and Grachev fights in which he has been hurt to easly that means he'll be carrying the mother of all weaknesses in boxing with him, not much of a chance to keep that chin protected against top fighters. He should retire after this last payday.
And the second important question is:
    This content is protected

If he has then he will let his hand go, at a rhythm I haven't seem since his fight against Zuniga or Andrade rematch I believe. Right about then he started to get in love with his punching power and become more of a 1 knock-out punch artist. Waiting and waiting and waiting for that 1 perfect moment to get his most powerful weapon in use. Worked wonderful against all guys, but Froch who was few classes above those ones, and maybe in one of his own when you talk about how he can take a punch.
If he moves on his feet like he used to, instead of planting his legs and wait for that perfect punch, and if he let his hands go like he used to, even with an awful chin he can beat Pascal, maybe not Froch but at least he'll put on a better fight.

Pascal most dangerous punch will be that leap in straight right. But as dangerous as it is I believe Bute will have a counter planned for that. When he gets the timing right it will freeze Pascal in his tracks. That if Pascal doesn't hurt him bad with it first.

The fight is in 2 weeks. Normally, both fighters should have ended intensive sparring and focus on strategy and recuperation. Injuries should not be a problem. I hope.

Will Pascal have weight issues? He doesn't make weight easily. Even with a catchweight, he didn't make it in one of his his last fights. Of course, he wasn't training at the same level but being the bigger guy can be a problem…if you are too big.

This fight is at 175 isnt it?????

Don't tell me they're fighting at a CW.

Bute is a bonafide LHW. He was draining to maintain 168. He's too long for 168, and even looked a bit drained at 170 for Grachev. :think

The fight is at 175. Pascal would not be able to fight at a lighter weight. His last fight was at 180(he was at 179,2) and the one before at 180 (he was at 182 at the weigh in).

Wel hopefully he won't be drained, but he put on too much muscle coming up from 168, and it's not the type he can lose upstairs.....it's gonna come off his legs first, and that's almost always a bad sign.

Hopefully the long camp has him healthy and fit and 100%, b/c Bute is healed up and he's gonna be looking to make a statement.:think

    Can't wait for this card.

Pascal is explosive, Bute will seriously need to commit to his work if he wants to take this.

The Grachev fight was a bad sign.

Gotta love the horrible excuses all these Buttards are dishing out now that Bute is in a somewhat significant fight

If Pascal is anywhere close to his best, he's going to knock the daylights outta Bute.

Pascal has faced and defeated many top contenders while Bute has faced none. The one time Bute stepped up and fought a live body, he was crushed exactly as I predicted.
Bute is just a hype and it's a shame that in today's weak boxing arena, a bum like Bute can earn millions of dollars.

Most probably Pascal will jump at Bute in the same manner as Rodriguez did it against Ward. Early aggressive attack from Pascal. I hope Bute is very well prepared mentally and physically cuz he'll have to keep his composure up the first 5-6 rounds. Then he should be able to take Pascal out and win the fight.

Its a very hard fight for Bute.

    ?!?!

Pascal has never been stopped, the only way gets stopped is if he's SHOT BEYOND RECOGNITION!
