How the F U C K could anyone regard Froch as HOF when not ONCE has he ever been the Ring, Linear or Number 1 ranked Super Middleweight Champion in his whole career.

He's a tough ******* and has consistently fought the best in recent years. But who aside from Bute and Taylor has he actually stopped?

Of course. The ones who voted no are haters.

He beat other champions like Jean Pascal, Mikkel Kessler, Lucian Bute, Arthur Abraham and Jermain Taylor. He's first-ballot.

Hard to say. The HOF has rather strange criteria in terms of who gets inducted. Gatti's induction kind of lowered the bar, if Gatti deserves to be inducted then so does Froch. If simply being a crowd pleaser and being involved in action packed fights get you inducted then Froch is clearly qualified to be inducted as well.

But with guys like Benn and Eubank not inducted there is a clear bias against British fighters who fought mostly outside the US and who never received the recognition from US fans. Not sure if Froch ever got the recognition or fan base in the US to be inducted like other British fighters like Lewis and Calzaghe.

We will see, but I suspect he won't be inducted even though I think he deserves to be. With wins over Taylor, Pascal, Bute. Abraham and Kessler his resume is deep enough. Maybe if Froch does what Calzaghe did a beats up on some faded American fighters in the US he might get inducted.

I don't think gatti's inclusion lowered the bar because he captured the imagination of boxing fans

if froch had gatti's following stateside, he'd be a shoe-in

you should never close doors on other people's opinion like you did in the first sentence. not if its a legit poster

"other champions" only means belt-holders, which should never be a prerequisite in this sport where every man standing on the corner has one

after saying that, hes worthy of consideration
but i'd probably say 'no', only because he was never the best fighter in the division at any time

basically Carl has an ATG chin, but that's it.

Thing about Carl is hes never set out to do something HOF, its never been his object. SO no, hes not really going to get in it, only if he beats Ward OR something of that level. I don't think hes going to beat Ward, and hes not got time to do a Calzaghe defending against bums for 10 years.

That said he definitely in the British HOF.

    Yes.

Anyone saying no is disrespecting the sport.
