If size means nothing... Could a PRIME Calzaghe beat Mike Tyson??

Someone earlier today put De La Hoya in with a prime Tyson. The size difference is too much..

But what about a Prime Joe Calzaghe?

Joe is the same height if not taller.
Joe is faster and has a great chin. Of course Tyson would be a BIG,BIG favorite..

But if Joe gets passed the 4th round, Tyson just might quit, or foul out.

Tyson was never a big Heavy weight. Infact Calzaghe was 2 cm taller than Tyson. So it's not really a David and Goliath scenario.

 

If Calzaghe was from the era between 1900-1950 he would just killed Tyson if they met in the ring. Everyone knows that.

 

Tyson obviously wins by KO. I don't see the point of this thread.

Power makes the difference here. If you picked a weaker punching HW and a harder hitting SMW it might be more competitive.

Spinks would be outclassed by Calzaghe. Michael's best chance is to land a big right hand. Spinks has a puncher's chance at most.

HE too slow and clumsy too even win more than 4 rounds.
