Whenever Golovkin beat his oponent, he called out everyone from 154 - 168 to fight him. If Andre calls out GGG to fight him at 168, do you think that the latter will accept that challenge?
that's a more likely scenerio than GGG fighting Ward, that's for sure.. SOG has proven he aint scared of sh*t
But he's not a fool either. If he goes up to 175 and fights Stevenson, he comes back with his ass beat and a KO loss. I'm not sure Ward would KO GGG, but he would beat him. The risk is greater for Ward, especially considering GGG can still make money because he knocks people out on the regular.
I think he would fight absolutely anyone at 160. I think he and his team want the big fights at that weight because they know that's how you make the most money. It's not like he's avoiding risk, he and his team just aren't stupid.
If I was GGG, I wouldn't move up until I fought Quillen at least. Although, GGG vs Kirkland is a money fight. Who would miss that fight?
i dont think so. an i dont think the fight will happen. when Genady moves up guess wut andre is guna move up to 175
It will have to be at 168. Lord knows{pun intended} S.O.B Ward will not make any concessions. The fight will also have to be in California with Ward's ref and judges, with Ward getting al least 70% of the purse.
I think he'll fight Ward but after he'll establish himself as the officially crowned MW king. After that he'll have more bargaining power. :good
Andre Ward demanded Chad Dawson fight him at 168. Gennady Golovkin should demand Ward fight him at 160.
Ward is calling out Groves, but SOB Ward will only fight in his home town with his personal referee, judges, boxing commission, etc. Stevenson called out Ward on HBO, but Ward would not even answer him. Stevenson said he would even go down to 168 to fight Ward, but again, Ward would not answer him. Why is it that Ward refuses to fight anyone outside his home town? In an interview Golovkin said that he wants to fight all the other middleweight champions before going up in weight...........
