Good post mate. Froch's ability to the read the crowd and media is second to none. Directly after the fight Froch verbally abuses Groves when he went over to shake his hand, however after hearing the crowds reaction Froch changed his tune and wanted nothing more than to congratulate George and say lets be friends.
Even at ringside interview Froch was agreeing with the refs decision and as soon as he heard the boos decided to talk of a rematch again to turn the crowds opinion.
Now post-fight Froch is talking of about every other fighter apart from Groves as his next opponent. Froch talks about legacy, but his true colors are beginning to shine through. A easy nights work for a good pay day is the objective and fair enough, but drop the warrior and legacy talk Froch if your not willing to rematch a 25 year old boy who destroyed you not just during the fight, but your reputation and legacy.

This whole situation is embarrassing. This abusing either fighters family is complete BS, it supposed to be a ****ing sport!

Why scumbags want to involve women into the equation is beyond me and should be ashamed of even thinking of doing it / carrying it out.

Real hard man thing to do that.

I am not interested about whether the rematch happens anymore, neither am I interested in what comes of Froch.

He really earned everyones appreciation and respect after the bute fight but then got sucked up by his own hype, talked like he was better than any other man on the planet and in turn ****ed it up.

I've said it before....Froch was more likeable when you could see his fights but when he didn't have as much media exposure.....I respect him as a fighter but but beyond that he talks too much fraff.......huge lack of self awareness

Froch has undergone a massive rebrand by Sky tv of late which has disguised him as this working class hero with a will of steel. His will is undoubted, but he is far from a decent guy and he has showed himself up for the man he really is with his behavior pre and post fight.

Case of poacher becomes gamekeeper when he even mentions Calzaghe if & buts etc he chased a fight he was lucky was never made he would of been totally outclassed. The GG fight the more (he) someone talks about the BS stoppage the more you say to yourself in the cold light of day he knew then & knows know he has been taken to the wire & beyond.

People do forget where they come from he was chasing JC while his fights were being highlighted on Saturday afternoon between horse races on BBC1.

Furey's post is spot on. Had an argument with a friend on this, he's the archetypal part-time Sky fan who believes the bollocks they tell him and sadly it made me realise that most casual fans will continue to believe the myths presented to them.

Thankfully boxing fans are able to see through Carl's bull****.

He actually said "4 time world champion" :nono

Funny thing is before this he was actually coming across as an alright guy, shame he couldn't make it last 10 minutes

I'm actually sick of both fighters now. It's like listening to children and funnily enough NOT professional sportsmen.
