Honestly, watching the HBO card Saturday, I am more convinced than ever that DLH just said "F- it!" and laid down after a nice body shot, but not a true liver shot.

And I really do think Hopkins carried him a bit, despite the fact Hopkins often starts smooth and measured. Hops knew DLH would run out of gas around the middle rounds--he always does.

In any case, I really do believe Calzaghe fans are in for a very rude awakening.

Mayweather did NOT expose Hatton and Hopkins will NOT expose Calzaghe...

I think Hopkins will win, and I hate Calzaghe nuthuggers, but Calzaghe is still a very good fighter. No matter what happens, Calzaghe is a top notch fighter.

Hatton is a top notch fighter...He fought the best, and he lost, so what???

Hearns got knocked out in 3 by Hagler, was Hearns EXPOSED? People get knocked out. That's boxing.

I hope Hopkins wins...I pick Hopkins to win...I won't say Calzaghe is an all-time great, but there is nothing to expose. He's taken out all of his competition thusfar (needless to say, much of it was quite weak), and he's a very good boxer.

I still pick the All-Time great over the Good fighter....

Calzaghe is going to prove to be even more inferior to Hopkins than Shitman Hatton proved against Mayweather.

You keep forgetting Hopkins has height and reach, so if Cal tries to fight on the out side, he's out reached.
    Hopkins, 6 foot 1, 75
    Cal 5 foot 11 1/2 73 inch reach.
Hopkins has 3 1/2 inches total reach.

    Reach matters...
Hopkins gets in a liver shot, Cal takes a knee and Hopkins by UD.

On the contrary, he's going to administer a one-sided beating on said sack of ****.

Calzaghe, like Hatton, will get exposed... not as tomato cans but as good fighters who can't beat great fighters.

An example that comes to mind is Oscar de la Hoya. De La Hoya is a very good fighter, but he lost to the great fighters he faced.

Calzaghe is very good, but not good enough to beat Nard.

Remember Holyfield against Ibragimov? Valiant effort but age takes it's toll.
Same with this fight. Aging warrior Hopkins gets beat up like Holy did for same reason.

With all due respect, that is an awful comparison, T.Stout.

Holyfield has been showing his age for the past ten years! Slowly but surely, he has been in obvious decline for sometime. The same cannot be said of Hopkins who is still winning against top-notch opposition.
