The Cowardness Of Cotto

Its probably the least of the thread starters problems.

 

Nobody here is a coward. Give me a break.

Cotto says what Tyson always said in interviews before he was champ...

Interviewer: "Mike, who do you want to fight next?"
Tyson: "You'd have to talk to my promotional team. I'll fight anyone they put in front of me."

That's how the game works with a lot of fighters. Cotto isn't the type to "call out", and neither was Tyson (in his youth). They are fighters...they fight any and all comers.

Mayweather, on the other hand, is a BUSINESSMAN. His goal is money. His goal is exposure. His goal is to sell tickets, PPVs, merchandise, and whatever else will make him earn...He's not scared of Cotto. He realizes that this time next year, sooooooo many people will be calling Mayweather "scared", and calling Cotto "GOD" that the fight will be twice as big as it is now...

It's business, plain and simple.

PBF is scared? I doubt anyone that confident is scared....
Cotto a coward? I highly doubt that as well...

 

I doubt any fighter in the fight game today is a coward. I can't believe this thread got so big.

 

Great post! People try to find anything on any fighter they don't like and use it against them. Even to the point of nitpicking. I doubt anyone here believes these guys who step in that ring are cowards.

And yes, I agree with you. Why is Cotto a coward? Because he wants to let his promoters promote him? I don't get it...
