what does vitali Byrd have to do with it...

I'm saying to me its funny how haye is down and out (again) yet only weeks after announcing "shoulder surgery" & "I'm done" and weeks after Vitali vacates... haye is "back in the gym and coming back"......coincidence? :think

Why not recognize the double standard here? Its a valid comparison, you just dont eant to admit it and would rather blast Haye. Haye is an idiot, and everything you've said about him is true. But the fact remains Vits had a shoulder injury, didnt rematch Byrd yet was fighting again weeks after Wlad fought Byrd. Am i wrong?

Im not a Brittard either, but Vitali is 43 y/o and Haye would be 50/50 for sure vs Vitali.

Haye would KO Potvetkin IMO 70/30, and he is also 50/50 with Fury.:think

Haye knew that he could not beat Vitali and failed to beat Wlad so he had no motivation to fight. Now, with Vitali retired and WBC belt up for grabs, Haye smells another payday and is going to line up for WBC title shot. I bet he will steer clear of Wlad for the forseeable future.

Not a huge Byrd fan, but his CPing was second only to Holyfield at HW. His chin was top 10, and his defense was second to nobody. Better than Hayes by far.

He should have concentrated on driving his CPs a bit more soas he coulda made some more noise and perhaps forced his hand when Lewis ducked him.:think

I don't think there was a fight out there that Haye wanted more than Vitali Klitschko.

Even at 41 Vitali woulda been a 70/30 favorite, but if the fight were made on Dec 14th, and scheduled for March 30th, Haye would likely be a 50/50 fight with a 42 y/o Vitali.

He was slowing and the Charr and DelBoy fights clearly showed that his power was fading.:think

    no double standard

wlad fought Byrd 6 months after Vitali did and Vitalis fight was 1 month after that making it 7 months before coming back after the Byrd fight... PLUS... vitali never pulled out of a fight to have shoulder surgery and announce.."I'm done" to come back a month later to say "I'm healthy and coming back after a champion vacates a belt......

dude, they are not even close to the same situation

and even when vitali retired from injury against rahamn..... vitali didn't come back for 4 years...... not the same thing as Haye coming back after 1 month

Haye comes and goes depending on the HW scene rather than fight his way to the top or Mand position

Vitali is a true warrior and a very skilled fighter................Vitali would have knocked Haye out, no doubt about that. I remember how much trouble Haye gave both Vitali and Vlad. Haye broke a signed contract with Vlad and an implied contract with Vitali. Haye was very frustrating for both Vitali and Vlad. A fighter can't count on Haye to live up to his word, contract or not.........Klitschkos wasted a lot of their time on Haye.................when Haye fought Vlad, well....................he proved himself to be a chicken fighter no doubt, he held, ran, fell down on the canvas, held on to Vlad's legs, etc.
