He was able to make 56kg in the amatuers and that was with on the day weigh ins and having to stay at that weight for up to two weeks. His started of at lightweight(61kg) in the pros and this is with the weigh in a day before and its only a once off weigh in. He could probebly make super bantamweight and definetly featherweight, would he have been better off to do that?

Lomachenko has done the opposite in the olympics he competed at 60 kg but his down to 57 now that his gone pro , i think this is so he can win titles at multiple weights, would campbell have been better off doing the same?

Its a great thread and one that doesn't involve froch so good on you and yes your probably right, he imo could be our own pacman, obviously not 7 weight classes but definitely 3 or 4. And before you all say it im not for one minute saying cambells career will ever get close to the pacman

To be honest i think he looks a lot healthier as a pro.

56kg must of been so hard to make for a man whos around 5ft 10 tall, however the jump to lww is bit of a big step.

Personally i think he shoud stay at lightweight at grow into the weight nicely hes got everything he needs to compete at that weight and there are some nice pay days.

Saying that he could clean up at sfw pretty easily if he wanted to start off down there

i think he should have started with a better class of fighter. he is a very experienced boxer and needs to progress quicker at his age or he could be the next DeGale ,

For the commercial side of things he needs to look fit and health at super bantam he looks ill and frail....his last 2 fights proves that he lacks power his opponents were taken clean shots and weren't fazed at all ....if he wants to win titles then he needs to drop down a weight or 2 and stop with this celebrity ****

The hype surrounding Khaild Yafi is beginning to sway he hasn't looked that good in his last couple fights even Eddie not hyping him up any more...

Only one man knows HIS own body, and thats Luke Campbell, look at his body fat percentage and his physical dimensions. everything looks fine to me, in fact I can see him at higher weight classes down the line.

He looks great IMO and is at the right weight class.

Lightweight is where the money will be got nothing againts Campbell but he dont excite me like oggogo or joshua to be honest.

I also think Ian Weaver will be a better pro

    Wow!

Luke Campbell doesn't excite you like Ogogo? ……….. That has to be some post that :|:yep:patsch:-(

Campbell is probably the closest thing we have in British boxing to being a genuine "blue-chip" prospect.

    Really,

    Not for me

Campbell is composed, Ogogo is erratic, maybe Ogogo's inexperience at this stage should be somewhat over looked and he could analysed down the line once he calms a down a little bit.

At this present moment in time for me Campbell is streets ahead of Anthony Ogogo on every level in the pro game.

He was streets ahead in the amateur game as well.

Ogogo won't make it past top British level.

I'd put money on Campbell picking up a title.
