    The whole thing is on the nose. How can Murray still be interim titlist, when he got done in WBC title challenge?

    WBA sanctioning fees. The fact that Murray is fighting Fletcher for a version of the world title and GGG is fighting Adama for a better version of the same world title on the same card is laughable. Good luck to Adama and Fletcher they're going to need it.

    Yep what pile of **** the WBA are but we knew this after all the money Mundine payed in sanctioning fees buying his way up their rankings back in the day .

    On WBA site:-

    The Championships Committee of the World Boxing Association, Gennady Golovkin keeps his champion status.
    The request made by the middleweight champion was denied for the moment due to the fact he was already granted a special permission for a fight prior to his mandatory commitment.
    However, even thought he was denied the status of super champion he requested right now does not mean he could not get the appointment later.
    In the same division, on December 21 was issued the resolution that decreed the fight between Juan Camilo Novoa and Dmitry Chudinov as elimination fight for the interim title, of that division. Chidinov won by TKO as previously approved, he will be recognized as mandatory challenger from May 2014.
    Meanwhile, Murray is still the Interim champion.

    Watched a replay of Braehmer vs Oliviera for the vacant WBA LHW title last Thursday which means Shumenov is made a Super Champion even though he hasn't unified or made anywhere near 10 title defences.:nut

    Yep just another example of the World Bull**** Association title . This historic title was the B all and end all when I was a kid now it's the laughing stock of world boxing and it's all down to GREED .

    Murray just pulled out of this proposed fight.Whats with these UK fighters pulling out every time they actually have to fight someone who will actually throw punches back at them.First Haye,then Cleverly and now Murray.I expect Ricky Burns will be next on this pathetic list of pretenders.:tired

    Behave yourself. We're talking about a fighter the B Rated Billy Joe Saunders cleared out in Two Rounds. Besides, Murray has been offered a fight with Felix Sturm instead.........you mentioned something about UK pretenders?...........

    Self explanatory Murray has been offered a bigger more lucrative fight for a real title. Don't blame him for canning the Fletcher fight hope Jarrod gets compensated for it. Soliman the mandatory will have to wait longer.
