True, but not surprising... Tyson does not have >10 children and a palace to support, and I understand his lifestyle is quite "normal".

I am surprised Holy apparently did not renegotiate his child support money (though I am not specialist in US legal system). It looks like the figures (for monthly payments) are still based on his earnings from times when he was top boxer, and it is obvious the situation changed to a point he can not afford it any longer.

Completely agree. With $230 million earnt it is obvious he has had bad advice along the way, despite the childeren and number of divorces.

Its sad, Holy is a good man despite the discussions on here about his anti gay views and its not nice to see him doing this kind of thing for money, lets face it thats all he is in there for. At least he didnt blow it all by gambelling and hoes like some!

My opinion on what he said about being gay, is that he should be allowed to voice his honest opinion WHEN HE WAS ASKED FOR IT. He didnt go on some mad anti gay parade. At a similar time some other 'celebrity' was having a go because he was allowed to have a book in the house (his bible) and that basically religion is false. How is her opinion any less offensive than his.

Anyway, on a positive note, i was suprised how fit, healthy and well spoken he still is. I was under the assumption he was punch drunk but not at all, James Toney is 10x worse.

People seem to get very confused between denying someone their opinion and finding it repugnant. No one at any point said Holyfield wasn't entitled to his opinion, just that it was an ugly and ignorant one (which it is). By attacking the people who said that, you are in fact doing what you're falsly accusing them of, i.e. trying to oppress their right to an opinion.

Making a claim without backing it up and simply throwing unnecessary insults makes you look ******ed, not him.

Race and ***uality bear a lot of similarities, including the fact that one doesn't choose either, and that nasty reactionary bigots have tried to deny rights and even kill on the basis of both. We've progressed further thus far on race than we have on ***uality, though the USA lags somewhat behind more civilised countries in the West, largely down to its preponderance of right wing Christianity.

It is not normal and it is not just Christian's in the south that feels that way. Muslims kill homo's all the time. You get caught fudge packing in Iran you will be killed. Go over there and fight for gays. No one in the USA is stopping these homo's . HIV here is getting higher as we speak. Just live your live and stop trying to play victim.

"Normal" is a pretty meaningless word here. Is being "normal" inherently good? Who cares if something is not "normal", not that I agree homo***ualitiy isn't. The fact is that a sizeable proportion of humanity is gay, and that gay behaviour is seen also across a vast range of other animal species. It exists widely across nature, and there is no decent, rational reason to give a crap if that is how someone is.

As for "no one in the USA is stopping these homos", as you so delicately put it, that's wrong. Christians are fighting tooth and nail to prevent equal rights (though in the big picture are thankfully failing). The recent legislation in Uganda which makes homo***uality punishable by death was very strongly influenced by American Evangelical Christians, likewise the abominable new laws in Russia. Look up Scott Lively, who is one of the most prominent of these delightful people.

Right wing Christians are losing their battle to oppress people different from them in the USA, so they're exporting their bigotry abroad, hoping to re-import it at some point.

Just like what Jesus would do.
