Sanchez was excellent, but Floyd had a better ring IQ and superior hand speed. Floyd was harder to hit as well.

I agree but to me Sanchez is better than PAC .. The guy was a animal not saying Floyd would lose but ... Let's be real if Sanchez faced the guy jlc faced he would have won that fight ..... Not broner vs miadina type loss but he wouldn't have beat Sanchez with what he had vs jlc that night...

Floyd kicks his ass from pillar to post.

Whoever believes otherwise knows nothing about boxing.

Floyd would never agree to fight Sanchez and just as this is a dream fight anyone who thinks Floyd could win this is nuts. You need to whip out some film and watch more of Sal's fights.

Yeah, Sanchez had his struggles, although I do think he had a tendency to fight to the level of opposition. He'd step it up for bigger fights like Lopez and Gomez.

I still pick Mayweather by decision. Given Sanchez's frame, I think he would've been alright moving up to 130 (although he's still at a reach disadvantage against the very long-armed Floyd). Sanchez would have his moments but drop a competitive UD.

Sanchez was too small for PBF. PBF would beat him.

Yeah, different divisions. But not so far apart really...just one weight class. I think the great Sanchez would struggle mightily with 130 lb. Mayweather, sorry to say. At 130, I would have a seriously hard task to pick anyone to beat him. He was just so quick and smart, and could punch at the weight too.
I don't know if Sanchez' counterpunching style is going to get the job done against Mayweather at 130.
