Why on earth would you tell me to stop writing my own verison as if its fact??

The whole point of my post is that both fighters deserve respect as nobody knows what would have happened.

Its funny, you have assumed i think Froch would have went on to win, not once did i say that so dont be so defensive. What i said is 'Groves deserves a rematch' and 'the ref robbed us of knowing the true outcome'

How ironic that here you are the only one predicting what never happened, you seem so sure that Groves would have won :nono

    Look -

Groves was tiring, Froch was coming on strong, a couple of blows later and Froch could have had him out - we will never know.

See how that works? Works both ways

Groves blew it, and here is why, he had Froch on his ass, he connected cleanly with his hardest shots, and after round 6 the tide was changing. Why do you seem to think that Groves would have finished Froch when he couldnt when it was going all his way?

Im sensing a butthurt Groves fanboy :deal

TKO 9 - Please try to deal with it :hi:

Why would i tell you that-because its not fact what you have written-you have decided Groves' only way out was to fall into the ref-no it wasnt.

You have stated that whenever Froch landed a glancing blow, Groves turned his back on a few occasions-no he didnt, your post insinuates he couldnt take a punch from Froch-but he did as he never went down or was out on his feet

You say he blew it-no he didnt as the ref didnt allow us to see how it would have ended so again this isnt a fact

Please tell me where i categorically predicted what would happen as opposed to an example of what MIGHT happen which illustrated my point that we dont know

Where do i seem so sure he would have won? I stated that we we dont know and nowhere did i say 'I think/Know Groves would win'

Your post made it sound like Groves was in deep trouble and on the verge of a KO whereas the majority of people see it very differently-so who is the fanboy?

'Butthurt fanboy' if i sense anything its that your very immature

This was a cracking fight between two great domestic fighters and both should recieve credit. Instead all we can do is slag them off.

Both fighters deserve praise, Groves performed brillantly and in my eyes so did Froch to come back the way he did, regardless of whether you agreed with the stoppage.

How come Foster aint getting much attention for the BS stoppage or the judges for the score cards.

    It really beggers belief !!!

Mainly because the BBBoC came on and said the stoppage was fine-as corrupt as you can get though arent they

As for the scorecards, rarely does any real scrutiny take place which is so wrong, the trend would have had Froch winning it seems, no matter what George did.

As bad as Burns/Beltran if not worse given the actual outcome

Everybody knows Howard Foster is corrupt as he has previous for this sort of thing, but rightly or wrongly Froch took the spotlight off him by not only justifying the stoppage but also saying Howard Foster saved Groves's career and that's why Froch has received the backlash from the fans. If Froch had said the truth that "it was B.S stoppage but i felt i would have gotten to him in the end" then fair enough he wouldn't be getting this stick and i'm sure The B.B.B of C and Howard Foster would have come under more pressure. On top of all that i find it an insult to the intelligence of us fans when Froch says Groves doesn't deserve the rematch because he cant cut it at world level. Froch has done himself no favors and has brought it all on himself with his behavior and you simply cant defend him.

I think Eddie is waiting for things to calm down before begging Carl to rematch Groves

    That is the money fight

Froch will want NO part of Ward, he talks about avenging the loss, but Im certain he doesn't want to face an injury free Ward

    Froch wants Kessler 3 lol

the longer this goes the more i admire Froch and his stance on this whole episode.....
the easiest thing he could have done is sign up for a re match the week after first fight and 99% of us boxing fans would have been happy and looking forward to what we might see as 'justice'.....
But to come out with the complete sh1te he has spoken since the fight takes a whole lot of bawls and he has basically stuck the veez up to all of us boxing fans and said ' I AM DOING WHAT IS BEST FOR CARL FROCH AND SOD YOU MUGS YOU ONLY PAY MY WAGES'....like him or loathe him he has probably chosen the far more difficult option by doing whats best for him and not whats best for the fans....

    Answer the questions honestly.....

Who looked the more tired during that round ?
When has Froch ever gassed during the championship rounds of a fight ?
What was the outcome of the fight, the last time Froch was dropped on his arse, and was then outboxed and made to look slow and crude for the first half of a fight ?
