As the title says, it's been documented Purdy is tight at 147.. if he moves up to 154 how do you see this match up going?

Styles blend well but i'd fancy Smith to win based on having a little more to his game and Purdy's size and strength not being as big a positive for him at 154.

Definitely think you're right there, it'd be a good tear up.

I would go for Smith myself, but i was surprised to hear Purdy say he made weight fine as he had plenty of preparation and never cut any corners this time.

smith wins, Purdy is crap, beating on your chest while devon beats you up with one hand, he must have been thanking his lucky stars and his mate eddie cos he will never get anywhere near a world title ever again. colin lynes took him to school and has hardly won a fight since.

Think that's a bit harsh on Purdy.

He's not shyed away from anyone, always comes to fight and is a tough lad.

This would be a good fight but I think Smith would take it with his better boxing skills. Purdy has relied being the bigger man at Welterweight and he would be fighting someone his own size in Smith. I feel Beefy has come on so much over the past 18 months and will look forward to what lies ahead for him in 2014. I hope W****n has him active and in meaningful fights.

Good fight for Smith at this point in his career. I can see Smith outboxing Purdy and winning on points. Smith is a good enough fighter to beat someone like Purdy but I think he is limited and will get found out when he steps up.
