    Who do you guys think takes a battle between a prime Fernado Vargas at 154 against modern day version of Miguel Cotto?

    close fight, probably a 12th round tko for Vargas. but cotto can hurt him with a left hook no doubt

    Tough fight, but Vargas was a big, strong JMW, while Cotto is a little undersized at 154. At the same time, i think Cotto would be a shade quicker and a more disciplined fighter who is less prone to get sucked into a war unnecessarily. Real tough to pick.

    After the Trinidad fight Vargas never looked the same to me. Vargas was stronger then Cotto, and Cotto could be hit and hurt at Welterweight.

    a prime Vargas would beat the **** out of Cotto at 154.

    one sided mismatch that ends by KO around the 9th.

    Prime Vargas was a beast, one of the best 154 fighters ever...
    Cotto wasn't all that special at 154.. His best weights were 140 and 147..

    Prime Vargas would destroy Cotto at 154
