The OFFICIAL medical report is on the web. I would encourage all to read and not except the lie he's trying to pass. You're not telling the truth again.

TedSpoon, great comparison !Lewis used his size to break down and dismantle his opponents, then finish them ! Vlad hides behind his shield/skirt. Since he got starched by ATG`s Brewster and Sanders,he hasn`t really improved. Rather he uses a stink out the joint style, involving major clinching and using his reach to keep safely away. The opponents have been horrible as well... So he`s gone on this great ``run` against non-descript fighters who have zero chance of winning. That does not put you in ATG class...

You mean, unlike the era that saw title challenges from Jose Roman, Dave Ziggy, Terry Daniels, Jean Pierre Coopman, Evangelista, Dunn and an 8 fight veteran in Leon Spinks?

I think the 'lowest point in all HW history' would be Wlad vs Povetkin ....

Then please link us to it. I would be very interested to read it. :good

PS- Are you still hanging onto the claim that Sanders beat Wlad because of his mythical butt/punch?

Ali had the anchor punch...Sanders the butt/punch. I wonder which was more devastating? :think

They were too different fighters..Wlad has surpassed that by himself? Mormek,Wach,Leapai,Pianeta,Brewster,Thompson,Chaegev and the fighters you mention they were active and medically fit to fight in any country, and then lets throw in his fighting tactics and style and you have the worst era with the worst champion and lets not mention the tremendous help he has had from his brother and true champion.

Everyone of those fighters were terrible in there age. I cant imagine them fighting for a cruiserweight title today.

Elroy says Frazier had no technical skills and was out of shape in the majority of his fights. He shows from those comments he has no knowledge of boxing. He is ruining the forum with his classless comments.

If you read my threads you would know that I like Chisora. I don't think he's a patch on Joe Frazier who you and Elroy constantly berate and ridicule. You 2 are the writers of crap, mate. That's why you are always outnumbered on these threads.

I have no problem anyone picking either of the K brothers in a fantasy fight: it's all opinion after all. What I DO object to is fools like you and Elroy slating great fighters who are loved years after they retired.

The style is a positive if you hold physical advantages over opponents- ie, size, strength, conditioning, and an iron chin. Joe's fine on the conditioning front, but success with his style is more dependent on size than others. Even then, it's not one that makes for long primes.

Eventually, physics catches up with you. They caught up to Joe well before the end of his 37 fight career; of which, only 13 of those guys were 210 lbs or heavier on fight night. He went 8-4-1 in those fights.

Why should I believe he'd put up a better record today against nothing but bigger fighters?

Cheers for that, FOF. I have said favourable things about modern fighters, so I don't think I am an extremist! Others have said the Klitschko's would win and they offer some valid points, so I have no problem with them. It's just the usual suspects who offer no real argument except "bigger is better" on every thread that do my head in!

You've got more fvcking neck than a giraffe when you talk about reading other peoples posts, and jumping to conclusions.

I don't give a fvck about what you THINK I wrote. I try to live in the real world, not some pathetic fantasy world that idiots like you inhabit.

I saw Joe Frazier fight live at Earls Court in July 73 against Bugner, and never have I tried to ridicule or berate him.

I stated the reality of Joe's MO, which is the fact that he was a slow starter, easy to hit, and that if guys as limited, as Bruce, and Bonavena could drop Joe early, then there is a strong possibility that someone like Ruddock could easily do the same, only to get bugs and earwigs like you, ( who probably never attended a Frazier fight in your lives ), coming up with romanticised garbage, and disparaging remarks about Ruddock.

And in this thread, you spew out more moronic garbage, based on nothing more than wishful thinking about Joe clearing out today's Heavyweight division which is populated by men who would generally outweigh him by more than 30 pounds, have height and reach advantages, and punch power.

What is your answer to scream like a little girl " you're disrespecting a legend". Grow up you tart.

If anyone is disrespecting anyone it is you, and your ilk. Firstly leave the man alone in his own era, where he did very well, and don't disrespect today's Heavies by dismissing them as little more than cannon fodder for Joe.

His career was short enough as it was, due to his style, without muppets like you matching him up constantly with today's giants, just to please your ridiculous sense of nostalgia.

So take your high horse, and shove it up your ass.

    Hart v Burns
    Dempsey v Miske (sick version)
    Dempsey v Carpentier
    Dempsey v Darcy
    Patterson v Rademacher
    Bowe v Dokes

A lot come to mind... Horrible division.

Seriously, go **** yourself. The extent of you Klitshcko worship has only now become apparent to me.

Here I was, browsing the net, looking for some evidence of Wlad's supposed hyperglycaemic coma, when I stumbled on to a thread on Saddoboxing, entitled 'What would happen if Klitschko called out Ali's opponents?'

Here I'm reading the thread, and I keep noticing this guy called Max Power saying some stuff that sounds eerily reminiscent of someone who know. I keep reading, and the same words, phrases, bashing of great fighters like Ali & Frazier, defending Wlad at all costs etc. keeps popping up.

This Max Power guy is Elroy. He is clearly obsessed with the Klitscko's way beyond what any normal boxing fan should be. I personally find it a little bit sick. There is something definitely not right in his head, and I don't make this statement lightly.
I hope that anyone who know me around here know that I don't get upset unless there is a good reason for it. I've been here for a long time and never received a warning or a ban, so I must be doing something right. I don't like to trash posters for nothing.

However, this little game has gone on for far too long. I have entertained Elroy and his Klitshcko obsession (and it is an obsession, make no mistake) with the mistaken belief that he was just a fan, like many of us are fans of certain fighters. I have been a fool.
Myself and others fanned those flames, by entertaining his ideas, mistakenly believing that we could find a common ground on fighters like Klitshcko, Ali, Frazier, Joe Louis and others.

That will never be possible, because Elroy can only think about the Klitschkos and how amazing they are, all the while trashing other fighters who have earned the title of 'great.'
Everything one says to the contrary is water off a duck's back, as though you have never spoken at all.

His ideas are set in stone as the day is long, and he will never change one bit. Rational debate with Elroy is impossible, I realize that now.
He is not even trolling, not even a bit. I came to that realisation when I was reading that thread on Saddoboxing.

What annoys me is that this little shitstain has the nerve to call people with contrary opinions 'nutbags' yet he is the absolute biggest nutbag I have ever encountered on any forum anywhere. I feel angry that I have wasted so much time on this clown, but that stops right now.
The sum total of his boxing knowledge can put put into a thimble, and I hope nobody else wastes their time on him any longer, or entertains his Klitschko agenda. He is a human pastebot and nothing else.
    Worthless.

Here is the thread just for interest's sake:
