Maidana will be going into this rematch with lots of confidence.

Broner, your time is coming to an end in April.

bye, bye. you're getting knocked out this time.

The first fight was a man and a boy. How could the second, be any different?

I don't understand why there should be a rematch... Maidana wins 9 out of 12 rounds with 2 knockdowns = rematch?

    Disgusting

Amir Khan edges Maidana, Chino for 2 years chases a rematch, Denied

Broner takes a battering, gets a rematch a few months later.

    Bull****.

Or, looked at from the opposite angle, uplifting. :good Having class acts like Maidana in boxing - willing to do for others what hadn't been done for him with a far greater claim - is a credit to the sport.

Broner can hurt Maidana as proved at then end of the 11th.. he just needs to let them hands go early and move,move,move.. I think Broner stops Maidana.. Maidana was just throwing over hand power shots and landing some flush bombs.. dont see that happening again . If AB can counter those with uppercuts, I see this fight ended before the 12th.

How is this disgusting? Its economics

Broner had a rematch clause and he exercised it. Maidana gets the biggest payday he is going to get (other than Floyd). Its simply the truth. There is not a bigger payday out there for him.

Broner gave Maidana a shot. When you are the money maker, you get things like rematch clauses. Broner is the attraction.

If he doesn't get this win, his role as the attraction is done for a long while and possibly forever.

This fight will be closer and I think Broner probably wins. First fight was competitive after the first 2 rounds (although Maidana still CLEARLY controlled it). Its all about adjustments. We will see if Broner can make them.

maidana has serious stamina problems he's had it throughout his career and at 30/31 i dont see it getting any better, there were times in that broner fight i was thinking to myself if there was another fighter at 147 who pressed the issue a bit more they would have caught maidana in the lapses he has. I think broner has a decent shot at getting revenge, the blue print is in the fights with morales and alexander.

broner really wants to prove marcos does not have his number. mike stafford is a hell of a trainer and they would not set broner up to fail. at the end of the day broner believes in himself and so does he trainer, thats how it should be. im going with broner by ud.
