Dawson caught Pascal with a nice left uppercut and hurt him and we all know Dawson isn't a puncher.

I think Bute will come with a good game plan, defence and with a better chin due of the jump in weight class.

Yeah, some people probably will say that Pascal was past of his prime or unmotivated but you know ..... always there will be naysayers and haters.

    ;):good

I wouldn't be too surprised. Bute is good offensively and Pascal is no defensive genius. Bute is also a good body puncher.

Dawson would've been labelled a puncher had he faced Bute's mediocre opposition.

Pascal will knock him out early.

I wouldn't be surprised but I'm not expecting it as my first scenario.

Bute has a great left body counter uppercut and with Pascal's ambush lundges he should catch Pascal at least once.

But who knows if he can still pull the trigger.

i think bute wins a decision, but theres no way bute stops pascal....no way its just not happening...pascal has an iron chin...froch couldnt hurt him and froch hits alot harder than dawson...what you seen in the dawson fight was fatigue more than anything

i think its a close first 6 rounds, then bute takes the last 6 or most of them by pot shotting pascal and throwing enough that pascal wont be able to throw much back.

pascal has fought stevenson in the ams and still was nevr ko or tko...hurt, yes, but he gets through it, pascal also does special "dizzyness" training to help him stay balanced and clear headed when wobbled...

All four scenarios are possible I think. Each guy can win on points or by stoppage. This is why it's such a great fight IMO

    i would be real surprised

Froch hits as hard or harder than Bootay... and he hit Pascal plenty

Difference is - Froch's chin is titanium - Pascals monsterous thunderwallops didnt even phase him - whereas if just one of them landed on Booteh, dude's in it deep

Some people are acting like Pascal is some kind of RJJ and they are not giving to Bute a chance based on his bad performance vs Froch @ 168. :nut:patsch:lol:

I wouldn't be surprised at all, but I think it's going to end in a close decision.

Yeah I don't think it's wise to base everything off one performance and ignore all the others. It's also not as simple as 'Pascal has a good chin'. Pacquiao had a good chin, had taken punches from guys like Cotto, had taken JMM's punches in 3 fights but then got KTFO so I think Bute is fast enough and hits hard enough to stop Pascal. It's the punches you don't see that do the most damage etc. That doesn't mean it will happen because there is probably an even better chance of Pascal stopping Bute because Bute's chin ha never looked great, but it's still a definite possibility. The guy with the better chin doesn't always win and anybody can be KO/TKO'd.

    This^^

A mystery box fight. And a very important one for both semi shot fighters looking to unshot themselves.

Bute seems like a broken fighter after Froch. My reluctant guess is that Pascal stops him fairly early and Bute retires.
