I wanted to wait til' all the euphoria ended before I posted this. Because after the fight....no-one was in the mood to listen to any logic. But anyway...Broner and his whole team got exposed for not knowing a damn thing about strategy or ad******g. AB is the better athlete and better boxer. So why not Box Maidana's ear off? Use distance, pop the jab, beat him to the punch and box to a easy win right? Hell, even Alexander figured this out. Yet Broner stayed in the pocket or layed against the ropes and allowed Maidana to "BOMBS AWAY" all night long. After the first KD you'd think he or his team would adjust...right? Stafford just kept saying..."keep your hand up", really? That's stuff you tell your 8 year old in his first amatuer fight. They got exposed, big time. Does anyone remember the "2-piece" Mosley put on Mayweather? What did EVERY member of Team Mayweather tell Floyd in the corner...."BOX!!!" But for the record, this is what you guys wanted right? This is how you want "your Black fighters" to be right? Flawed, giving up their advantages, take more chances and fight in a more crowd pleasing style, right? But when they're use their gifts and talents to cruise to easy victories (Floyd, Ward, Crawford..etc) the forum fills with "Boooo" - "They're Boring" - "He's a runner" blah blah blah. But when guys like Broner and Kirkland stands toe-2-toe and take punishment then loses...you guys can't wait to hit the forums with "OVERRATED" - "HYPEJOB" blah blah blah. You guys can't hve it both ways. Or do you criticize "certain" fighters, no matter what style they use. SMH!!!
i like broner to some extent. im not bothered by his antics. never pay serious attention to it. it is an act to sell himself and the act fits him since he is still young. ultimately, he will be judged by his boxing. also, has appreciated his willingness to get immediate rematch against the guy who beat him. this is good for boxing. we dont another ducking diva.
broner wanted to fight toe to toe. he did not want to mix it up and fight on the inside and outside. he walked to madiana and boom there was an explosion. cant wait for the rematch. maidana want get no better and only broner can in the rematch.
He has the physical tools and skills to win a rematch and if he does it convincingly I think his career will be better than if he had kept his 0
You are the only one that's racist here if you are seriously drawing parallels to Ward and Mayweather, because it's obvious that the only thing they all have in common is being (somewhat) black. Broner was never that good, some of us knew that already. :bart
Maidana did brush Adrien's hair better as his dad did, without practise and even without a brush. So I think Adrien's dad got exposed the most. Doesn't matter anyway, because Adrien's got a new daddy now.
that's not true in the least. Broner can do it all in the ring...he just didn't adjust when he moved up....like Floyd did.:deal
Broners doesn't listen to his corner anyway. They were telling him he was in trouble and he was telling people to "be cool we got this" and "get the f*k out my face". When Froch told Mcracken he had Taylor RM went ballistic told him no you don't you need to get up hand across and stop reaching in with shots and stop getting wild with the left hook paraphrasing abit but there was solid advice Broner didn't get much. No step round him throw more than 2 at a time, Jab with him and try and beat him to it, don't go back in a straight line etc etc Fact is he might beat Maidana 2nd time around but he didn't match up against him well first time a low work rate, easy to hit fighter without a punch isn't going to trouble a tuff well conditiond puncher - he needs a lot of work in between fights and he needs to listen
Are you saying that broner let Maidana win and let Maidana hit him?, no credit to Maidana at all?. oh yeah i forgot you want broner's dick in your ass then in your mouth so you can really enjoy it. Ha.
TBH the main problem with Broner is his style... the ****** watched too much Floyd.. If he develops his own style maybe he can become a good boxer.. now he's neither a good boxer, not a good offensive fighter, needs to change his whole game.
