To be fair Geale and Mosley were good fighters and it is a quick turnaround so you can't be too hard on Mundine(unless his fight after is another tomato can).

 

If Geale never lost to the glass jawed bum Darren Barker he would continue to duck Golovkin, he realises that GGG is the only big money fight left for him.

Soliman destroyed Wood, but Wood gets the payday and the opportunity to fight Geale. Fletcher ducked Soliman and hasn't got half the track record Sam has, but gets to fight for an Interim World Title. Even Geale has ducked Sammy Soliman in the past.

Name me one other sport where people get to choose who they compete against. AFL, Cricket, Rugby, Tennis, Golf? MMA? Nope. What a joke.

This is why sports fans have lost interest in Boxing. Geale is a former long time world champion, but the average Aussie sport fan probably couldn't even tell you what weight division he fights in!

Notice most big Aussie fights not involving Mundine usually involve Mundine's left over's who will milk the tit of team Mundine for all they can get. It's pathetic.

 

Soliman did not destroy Wood. Soliman has a good IBF ranking but politics have seen him denied a shot. I wouldn't mind seeing Geale fight Soliman for his IBF ranking but he is not fan friendly and is awkward and not a draw.
Boxing is not popular in Australia and casuals only really know 2 boxers. Sports fans have never been interested in boxing for some time. With a few exceptions.
